The customer service experience I had was very unprofessional. I inquired with Joan about her team catering for our wedding. Gave her our date, location and head count the first time I inquired with her. She scheduled us for a taste testing and cancelled the morning of and told me she’d reschedule us and provide us with a quote and then a couple days later after not hearing from her she emailed me and said her team would no longer be able to accommodate because of the travel distance and guest count. To me, that’s something you disclose from the beginning and not 3 weeks after interacting with me about providing the service. It was very disappointing how the situation was handled by Joan.

We had Joan and her staff cater our son and new daughter-in-law’s wedding this past rainy weekend at Mansion By the Sea in Aransas Pass. We live 3.5 hours away and working with Joan from a distance was no issue at all. Next to the beautiful bride, the food received numerous compliments. Her staff dealt with a crowd of guests after several delays in the day, due to the weather with patience and professionalism. The food, lasagna, pasta, chicken Alfredo, green beans, salad and breadsticks were delicious. They packed up all leftovers for us. I highly recommend Aunt Sissy’s kitchen! Also they give you Plenty of food so you even have leftovers. Well sometimes you do if the food is not all consumed because it was too amazing. Check them out on the island and place your order.

We just had lunch from here and it was so good! I had mini meatloaf, which is actually enough for two meals, mac and cheese, and corn. All of it was amazing! Especially the mac and cheese! I'm too full to eat my bourbon pecan cheesecake right now, but I'm sure I'll love that too. ?

The staff showed great patience and professionalism while serving our group and it helped make our wedding day more perfect than we ever could have imagined.While we got many compliments on the venue, photographer, speeches, etc., the one compliment that we heard the most was how amazing the food was and how great the bartenders were. People were happy that it wasn't the standard wedding food and were dying for seconds and even thirds.
