I had shrimp skewers with a spicy sauce which was excellent. The creme brulee for dessert was delicious. The atmosphere was quiet which made for good conversation. We had no delay in getting seated. I would highly recommend it

Food was great, however the restaurant was severely understaffed. The folks did their very best (so this is not on them), but there was just not enough folks working for a Friday night.

Well, it started out waiting at the front door patiently for 4 minutes to be seated, and we were the only 2 in line and several tables were clean for us to sit at, but we waited. Then, we ordered drinks, which took an additional 5 minutes to do. Not kidding, after a 20 minute wait and ordering top shelf gin, we finally get our drinks and the tonic is just flat. We waited an additional 10 minutes for the waitress to return. In waiting, we noticed several tables had not been bussed since we arrived. That, the waiting, the wasted drink, and the fact that 2 whole people ran the entire front of the house from hostess, waiter, server, bartender and bus boy, we decided to leave, paying for the drinks and a 20% tip. Hopefully they get more employees and we can actually try the food next time if we return.

Love love love this place! Been coming here for years. The food is so special and I love the grilled skewers shrimp topped with spicy sambal sauce, served with sweet potato plantain cake, coconut peanut rice sauce. Yum! Everything we've eaten here is delicious and the bar tender is good. Only drawback is they are as everyone else under staffed. The staff is great! But remember you are on island time and relax and have a good meal.

Our favorite place on NPI. Never disappoints! Food is delicious and the drinks were incredible. I had a cucumber martini and my husband had the top shelf margarita with a hot pepper infused shot. Wow. Thanks bartender Zach! My hubby had the special Bouillabaisse and said it was phenomenal. The Carl's dessert was delicious too. This was our first time back since Covid and we were so excited to eat here again! Yum.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Brought my wife here the last weekend she is pregnant for Mother’s Day weekend. Due next week. Ordered appetizers (wings and hummus)… to wait over 30 minutes without ever even receiving the food and never further waited on for drinks/water. The host/waiter was incredibly rude, mumbling, and cursing in the open restaurant when I told him to cancel the order in full view of other patrons. Other tables - with another waiter was waited on often. Sadly, won’t be back here. Also - the whole restaurant only had 3-4 tables of people!

The host/waiter/bartender Zach was fantastic! Even though he was overwhelmed and overworked, he was knowledgeable, friendly and on point. The Texas Queso was my fav part of the whole meal. One of the best appetizers I've ever had. The meal wasn't so great , but that could just be our taste preferences. Would still try it again.

If you are wanting a quality dinner on the island, and maybe without the kids, this is the place. The round of cocktails included a proper Old Fashioned and a surprisingly good and unexpected Sazerac. The appetizer of escargot came with some exceptional bread baked with rosemary, yum! My meat lasagna was rich and wholesome and the right consistency. My wife's steak was hearty and tasty but a bit too marbled for the market price. I want to thank our server for the informative explanation of the menu and should note that management had him hustling many tables for a Saturday night.

The redfish special was amazing. They were a bit short staffed but it was still a perfect date night. Due to the wait, the kitchen comped us a raviolo and it may have been the best thing I've ever eaten. My husband loved the Baja fish tacos and we also got the goat cheese toast appetizer. Everything was sooo tasty, we will definitely be returning.

The steaks, burgers and lasagna are excellent. They have a fantastic tapas happy hour and bar.

The appetizers were great! Had a hard time getting drinks though. The meal I chose wasn't as great as I expected. I did love the fresh green beans!

Outstanding food by an awesome French chef. Menu, changes to keep it interesting everytime you go there.

The place is decorated in the bar area creating a festive, beach like experience. The dining room is bigger and a little classier. We sat in the bar because it was happy hour so why not? My husband had a a bao burger or something like that. It is on their happy hour board. It is a rice hamburger bun with lemongrass sausage. Not sure what the sauce on it was. He hated it and was going to send it back. I kept it and ate about 1/2 of it. It was too heavy on the lemongrass flavor and nothing else. I had a shrimp, onion ring, calamari basket. Everything was covered in the heavily spiced batter so everything tasted the same as the batter flavor over powered the other flavors. After the Bao burger my husband decided he didn't want to try the linguini as he as planning and went with the cheeseburger. I had a bite of his and it wasn't bad. We each had a cocktail and each of us was disappointed with it. My husband had a Sugar Coconut Mule that was not sweet at all. It tasted like coconut water that had been infused with jalapeno. I had a island something or other. it was supposed to be gin and grapefruit juice. Neither drink had any complexity or alcohol in it. Our server was the bartender/waitress. She had a very harried demeanor. I might be sensitive to that type of energy but it really just made me feel very stressed. She was not the least bit helpful in explaining food options or answering questions. I know there is a worker shortage but her energy was just too much. All in all we know we won't be back. It was $50 poorly spent.

This is a place to go for a really nice meal. While they have some entrées in the $12-$18 range, the real focus is on nicer dishes ranging from $20-$50. The food is excellent, and service is great. Full bar with a wide spirits, wine, and beer selection, including two Nueces brewery beers on tap. We had the Chicken Wings as an appetizer. The server mentioned they were spicy, but don't let that deter you - they were delicious and just barely spicy, like pickles for example. We had the Fish Tacos which were a bounty of flavor, and the Mahi Mahi over delicious Grits with a spicy (flavorful, not hot at all) sauce. They have many desserts that sound great, alas no room to try them. Will be back to try other menu items, and maybe save room for dessert!

Super disappointed. The alfredo was so blan that I barley ate any. One of the servers was loud and obnoxious about other tables and was rude to his co workers. There was creepy dolls hung up all over the places. The price and the quality just didn'tt match. Dont recomend.
