Food was bland, no seasoning or flavor. They forgot my salad with my carne asada plate that clearly states on the menu it comes with it, also didn’t provide tortillas with my order and the coke was flat! Definitely do not recommend and not going back!

My experience at El Jalisciense Bar & Grill was mixed. The service was decent, but the establishment appeared worn down and in need of a thorough cleaning, especially in the restroom where the lighting was dim. When I requested a simple grilled fish dish, I was met with a rude refusal. The language barrier was evident as only the owner could communicate in English, though not fluently.The fish plate I ordered without sauce was unappetizingly bland and lacked vibrancy. On the other hand, my husband enjoyed his flavorful Texas plate. The homemade corn tortillas were a highlight, along with the tasty table hot sauce and chips.Despite a few positives, such as the quality of certain dishes, the overall experience and service fell short. Considering these factors, I am unlikely to revisit El Jalisciense Bar & Grill in the future.And if you visit be sure to have a strong arm the door is hard to open Lord forbid there is an emergency and people need to get out fast.

I heard an a/c guy was there and seen a rat running over bacon and they still served it. I thought they were good because me and my family enjoyed there tacos but last time we felt sick after eating it now we know why

Asked waitress to plz clean table, she grabbed a napkin and brushed off a crumb..Complete food order for 5 people was brought out 4 different times! My granddaughter had to wait for tortillas last! Her food got cold! Food was warm, not hot!

Not very clean, not always friendly, but food is good.*Edit 2years later*. Place really went down the hill. Order was messed up and didn’t taste super, on top of that German roaches were running by while we were waiting. This was our very last visit. No más.

very good i don’t usually review but the server was very accommodating, i told her i’m vegetarian and that i would just get fries, but she didn’t want me to just eat fries ? she was very informative about lard in the tortillas and beans, we eventually settled on the burrito bowl without meat, but i didn’t read it had rice. it came with rice and i said i would eat around it, she offered to make it again without rice and it was very good, very nice food and experience
