Great food , great people, sometimes service is a tiny bit slow, but still okay. Gets crowded/cramped at lunch time but always happy to get a table. So worth it all, The food is wonderful.
Near city hall, I stopped by Estrella de Jalisco for a breakfast taco. Seemed like just another taco spot, until I tried the taco. This is the 68th corpus breakfast taco place I've tried this year, and this was the first corn tortilla I was served. Now, I'm not sure if it was corn or mixola, but the corn flavor was there. Overall, the taco was good and, I liked the hot sauce - better than most

This place is superb. Great servers, gracious and hospitable. Superior food. Our party of two each had a Burrito.....they are HUGE and delicious! And the prices are so reasonable, only $13 including tax and tip. Unfortunately, we arrived too late to enjoy the free chips but if we ate chips, there's no way we could have eaten the Burritos. Don't forget to ask it to be smothered in their "gravy" (No, not like the gravy on your potatoes but think red sauce) and cheese. This place...read full review
