Early dinner, around 4 on a Saturday. Quiet and clean inside with friendly service. The portions were substantial and the food was delicious. Tuna Titaki, Poke Bowl with Tuna, Pho. These are some of my faves from various cities and spots and could have pleased even the most seasoned palate. Everything was fantastic... we'll be back!
Coming back to North Padre every year, I'm always amazed at the fact that despite there aren't many food options out this way, the handful that are available on the SPID are all pretty dang good. Hangout Ramen and Bar is one of them. You'll find that while Hangout is set up to serve predominantly Japanese fare (they have a Sushi bar), their menu features Korean and Chinese dishes as well, so they should have you covered if you are craving any type of asian food. That said, being a cold, wet day, Ramen seemed like the right choice, and I went with the Tonkotsu. A solid bowl of ramen and I really liked the smoky flavor of the chicken. The other dishes we ordered (spring rolls and pot stickers) were great as well. So go ahead and add Hangout to the growing list of great places to eat on the SPID. If you are craving ramen, sushi, or stir fry, they will have something good here for you.

I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it had like 3 reg pieces of chicken then a ton of tiny pieces which was crisp bread, frozen asian dinners would slap this food off the table. I'm not eating there again. If your on the island and want asian food go to Noms kitchen it's literally right next to it. And you dont even get an eggroll. That was so disappointing, can't believe they would actually serve that, there was literally only a COUPLE pieces of chicken! If they can't do sweet and sour chicken then the ramens prolly bad! GO TO NOMS KITCHEN it's more exspensive but worth it!

GREAT STAFF and communication this place doesn't get the attention deserved and the food is amazing! I have the tan tan men regularly if you order through them you can modify the heat you prefer! Cozy area to dine in and great for take out! Been here 3x since being in Corpus Christi will return always!
