Started the day blessed. The food is delicious and beautiful. The smiles from the ones working there are bright. Went with my family during our Spring Break in Corpus and felt the warmth here. Reminds me of Psalms 34:8.

Food was ok. Omelette was bland and got jipped on the chicken. I counted maybe 3 pieces. Potatoes were on the colder side and over salted. Could use a deep cleaning. I was hoping my food would not get an extra dusting from the light fixture.

Nicely renovated seating. Great brunch type selection...pastries, soups, sandwiches, salads. Like sitting in the Blue Frog section, it's quieter.

We love Hesters but our breakfast this morning was disappointing. Our food was lukewarm at best. We had eggs and biscuits and gravy. The manager did stop by after we were about 50% finished and offered to remake our food, but I didn't want to waste the food and/or wait another 15 mins.Sadly, this is the second time this has happened. My guess is the food running when they are busy might get backed up allowing the food to sit a little too long before being delivered.I hope Hesters can address this issue as it truly is a delightful breakfast atmosphere.

We like to try local or unique places when we visit. Hester's was a very pleasant surprise. The food was excellent. The Duke Ellington was excellent. The griddle toast was very good. The portion of the griddle toast was far too large - it was 4 half pieces and 2 would have been a full serving since the bread is an inch thick. The service staff was pleasant and the quality of the food was great. An odd thing happened, a trainee was working with her trainer while we were eating and I didn't think much about it. However, when I was in the restroom, the trainee comes in to freshen up the place without knocking or announcing entry - very odd. When she saw me, it didn't phase her a bit, she just did her stuff in the men's room like no big deal. Cracks me up.

This is the perfect lunch spot when out and about in CC. It is classic luncheon foods like chicken salad and delicious sweet treats. The cookies and cakes are all delicious!

I had the "Louie" Armstrong ... 2 eggs, bacon, seasoned hash browns and toast with English Breakfast tea.The meal was good, there was enough tea leaves in the brewing pot to have a second fill of hot water and make 3 cups of hot tea. The service bar had the option of milk or half and half for proper Continental style tea. Our server was polite and competent. The atmosphere nice.I will return.Parking: Easy parking close to the eatery.

The first time eating here, was invited by friends who live in CC. Had the blue Jack. If you like crab cakes and eggs Benedict this is for you! Service was great! Sad I didn't have the cheesecake or key lime pie.
