Feels like you’re in a Lebanese home! Getting their Buba Ghanoush is a must!

I really don't understand how this place is considered halal. They sell alcohol in the restaurant. Nobody knows any Islamic knowledge. I asked server lady if the place is halal. She replied InshaAllah. What? Beside all the fundamentals of halal food, the portions are normal size but prices are very expensive. We visited this place without knowing all the above. We ordered food by knowing the prices are high based on the menu and assumed food is excellent or special. Anyways, we got the food and it was normal size (The money we spent there, we could have eaten steak in a non-halal restaurant). Atmosphere of the place is dark, curtains down all the way and the restaurant is usually almost empty. For example, we could not decide if the place is open during the bright day light. While we were waiting for our very expensive and potentially halal-food, other customers came and they realized prices are absurd and they left right away. Server lady was mocking them because they complained that appetizer is expensive. For her $20 for appetizer is normal. My recommendation is to avoid this place because food is expensive, nothing is special about the food, and the food may or may not be halal.

Found this restaurant on our way back out of South Padre Island. We did not take reservation and walked in. It was nice and quiet. Service was fast and food was delicious! Started eating before I took any pictures!??Clean and homely place ? Quantity of food is acceptable! Definitely a great stop for a Lebanese treat. We even happened to share a currency from our respective nations! I found the owner is a collector too?? from ??Parking: Plenty of space around the compound. Do not have to go for street parking.Kid-friendliness: My daughters loved having a brief playtime with the owner's little son! Very sweet and friendly little host! Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible

The food is good but....it feels overpriced for the quantity of meat you get. You get more rice than meat on certain dishes. Plus, you have to call before you show up. As an outside visitor, how would I know that? The owner seems nice but the place is not worth it.

Came here after driving for 5 hours. Was ready yet door was locked. Waited and no one unlocked. Called number and apparently they left yet left restaurant open and locked. They should of at least turned off "open" sign. Literally this shows a lot of bad reception. You need to understand food AND service is required. If owners read this, you are failing with service due to doing RSVP cooking. Take professional restaurant business education. If you told them what you do, you would be mark DOWN A LOT. Look, something might be why you do it like this, but it is a harm to profit. Just know that. You lost many customers based on reviews. You are basically doing a great or nothing deal.

Stopped in for lunch for the first time. The food was delicious although a bit on the expensive side. I had a falafel wrap. My husband had an Avocado salad. We both drank water. Our bill was over $50. The decor is nice, parking is ample. Service is great and the food was prepared quickly. We were the only people there. Another family came in, sat down, looked at the menu, then quickly left. I recommend for a special occasion when you expect to spend a bit more.

It was an amazing experience and the food was extremely delicious. However good thing we called before arriving because we find they are only open if you make a reservation and advance. It did make it feel like a personalized experience when the manager sent us the menu and we were able to order in advance via text And we're served promptly when we arrived. My only negative comment would be the rice though very flavorful was dry and when my manager, who I had taken to this place, asked for spicer/hotter sauce she was charged an additional 3% on her bill. I know the response from the restaurant below says it was a credit card charge. However there were 3 of use we paid separately and my Managers receipt was the only one with the 3% charge and the receipt and the lady at the register explained it was for her special hot sauce.

Unusual place. The waiter was attentive initially, (we were the only customers), but hmm, was unavailable after another customer arrived. The food: my food was acceptable, my wife's was greasy. I would have asked for assistance in resolving the issue but he was nowhere to be found. My wife wanted water to go along with the soda she was having but he returned with a bottle of water and charged us for it saying they don't have water. I wish I'd read the reviews before giving this place another try. There's a food truck near HEB Plus on Saratoga and the food there is many times better than this place. Plus there's a surcharge for using a credit card. I don't enjoy leaving less than positive reviews but perhaps restaurants can get some ideas where they are failing their customers. However, since this was our second time going here with the same results we won't be going back.
