You average sports bar but this one sits on a pier, over looking the gulf. Plenty of screens for watching sports or whatever other event is going on. Friendly bartender and pretty attentive, at least on that cold as hell day we went. Sure needed heaters cause al 5 of us were freezing our asses off. Not sure I'd go back for overpriced beer though.
We lived in San Antonio for 20 years. Every time we visit, we come here. The food is good, but what zip it lacks, is made up ten fold in the staffs attentiveness and personality. Mikel May's and Bob Hall Pier are a MUST for anyone visiting the Corpus/San Antonio area. We wish you the best for a smooth and quick recovery. God Speed-Jennifer
