ZERO STARS!!! Spoke so highly about this place, convinced my son to go by for a quick lunch pick up. Meat was old, and buns were burnt!!!! Ridiculous!!! Embarrassment is an understatement!! Never again!!

I ordered the two meat plate with ribs and brisket, but when I got my food I was surprised by the small portion size. Paid 20 dollars for two pieces of rib and two pieces of brisket with some rice n beans as sides. I was confused by the beef because one slice was paper thin, the other was thicker. Makes me wonder if that one piece of brisket was used to make two pieces.I heard a microwave going off in the back while I waited for my food. I was the only customer there and became worried I was getting treated to leftovers. And the BBQ sauce wasn't sauce, I am pretty sure it was picante sauce.I've had bigger portions and faster food at other BBQ restaurants. I enjoy visiting new places to try out but maybe some more improvement is needed here before I come back.

No free refills on sodas. I believe they needed multiple choice on barbecue sauce. The food was good.

First it looks like a hole in the wall.... the best ones!! Wrong! They had Christmas decorations on the floor, to which I tripped on. The service was good, the food.... I got the pork ribs, chicken and brisket. The ribs and brisket were salty. Lil to no flavor. The bbq sauce that comes with it was salsa! So disappointed don't even wanna try the chicken. Waste of $33!

I am disappointed with todays service and food. I have always been a fan since you opened up but today was a different story.. I ordered a pound of sausage and a half chicken and I figured how long can this take to get my food and get to work.. It took 20 minutes to get my food and there was only 2 customers in the place. when I went to pay the total was almost $32.. 20$ a pound for sausage and 8$ half chickens.. Then when I get to work to share with my co-workers we were totally disappointed.. The chicken had ZERO FLAVOR and the sausage was a real let down also with zero flavor and was like eating ground meat in a casing... I have eaten here several times and it just seems that each time it has been less and less flavorful... This is a real shame because I really enjoyed it when you opened up a few years back.
The brisket was disgusting no mesquite flavor at all. Really disappointing.

Still testing the CC area bbq scene (for what it is) and Mr G’s is legit. Don’t miss out - try their smoked Mollejas and when your done, their nanner pudding is 5stars! No one is beating Terry Black or Franklins, but this is the best in CC for sure. This areas ‘q offerings are pretty low quality, not here. Marbled brisket was cooked and fat rendered, rib was meaty with a bite and the mollejas were satisfying treat. I will be back.
