They have something on the menu for everyone in the family. We have celebrated everything from the announcement of my first child to birthdays. This is a great place to eat. We have been there twice, and both times was excellent. The service is good.We had the fried mushrooms. They are so delicious. My friend had the jalapeno and cheese stuffed steak. It was really good. I had the Teriyaki chicken with sauteed vegetables and baked potato. It was really good.They do have a full bar. Also they have a salad bar with a huge piece of cheese. The atmosphere is great, with memorabilia from the 50s,60s&70s. Really a great place to eat.Vegetarian options: They have a great salad bar.Parking: Plenty of parking, also several handicap parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is definitely wheelchair accessible

The restaurant was very fun decor wise and I enjoyed my server. I do have one serious problem. The staff needs a bit more training. Prior to ordering, my husband and I let the server know about a food allergy of mine (bell pepper). I'm lucky that it happens to be a more mild allergy. I ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce. When we got our dish, I was mixing the sauce in when I noticed something green and chunky in the sauce. I gave it to my husband to test if it was bell pepper or zucchini. He said that he thought it was zucchini and for me to put the edge of the fork to my tongue. I did so and it began to prickle a little bit. I gave my husband a second piece. At the time the server was going to the cook to find out which it was. Upon eating the second piece my husband said that it was bell pepper, which the server came back and confirmed. They said that they thought it was just sauce. They did not tell the cook, they just assumed it was okay. I ended up having to leave to get an antihistamine just in case.In short, we very much liked our server. Their attitude was pleasant and they were helpful. However they are still a kid and did not seem to understand basic protocols in regards to those with an allergy. I am lucky that I have a more mild allergy. Someone with a more major one could have gotten seriously hurt or worse. Please, please give your staff more training.

Anytime we are thinking of eating out after a long day this is our #1 choice. The location is convenient for us, close enough to home but far enough not to be too crowded. Everything we have tried has been amazing and the drink specials ?! We try to get a different booth each time (Elvis, Marilyn, Audrey). The food is good Ole American, and a option for everyone in our family. Salida bar has a variety of options that is just as good.

I wish I could give this restaurant more stars, as I was hopeful seeing the exterior and how it smelled inside to the menu..all looked on point! But the food was dry or either charcoal tasting(Steaks, chicken burgers, is what we had) BUT if you're looking for some great mashed potatoes, baked potato or fries with a salad bar, then this is the place for you.Now for the waitress/service....It was not busy in there yet she seemed like us coming was putting a damper in her evening. She wasn't rude yet she wasn't waitress friendly, either.Atmosphere....Good looking place inside and out. VERY quiet inside, like too quiet lol now I'm sure to some ppl that is appealing but we would've liked some music at least. Liven up the place a little since the waitress to other workers were "just there"

Have eaten here many times. Ordered the pork chop needed a chainsaw to cut it was very tough. Salad bar is always awesome! Had 2 orders of shrimp scampi for kids shrimp was on the verge of spoiling. I love eating here and hope it picks back up cause today was not a good day!!!

Kinda hard to understand why this place doesn’t have more bussiness. Food is always delicious, service always great. Salad bar is kinda hard to beat for a value in the area. Sadly it’s always quiet when we eat here!

We were looking for a place en route south to Corpus Christi and saw it from the highway with many cars, late lunch, not packed but busy - like it was a popular place. And for good reason. The staff was super nice, very friendly. The menu is diverse, with very nice variety. Many workers having lunch, knew where to go. Nice looking, attended salad bar. We had fish po'boy and club sandwich. They were perfect. We think we could get anything on the menu and it would be good. We recommend.

Walked into big empty restaurant and smelled like urine. Then they placed us by the restrooms. Appetizers were good,our food tasted old. Then came out a small critter crawling on wall behind me. Kids pointed it out and then I was discussed. It was a small roach. And when there is one there is many. This is a never again restaurant.

Food and service were fine. Portions are generous. We went in with a party of 7 adults and 6 children without a reservation. They were extremely accommodating.

Food was AMAZING! Fried catfish, perfectly cooked. FRESH. As was shrimp. Grilled zucchini was amazing and perfectly grilled & seasoned. Seasoning disnt overpower, but just enhanced! Price was great for such a presentation and quality of food!! Definitely coming back for more!

Your staff needs to learn how to properly package to-go orders. If a container has liquid in it, like butter or oil, you need to tie the bag tight to secure the containers in an upright position. Otherwise the container will easily tip over and spill on the other containers, the bag, utensils and in the vehicle. Our dinner experience was ruined.
