Such a great place and a welcome addition to downtown Corpus Christi. Something for everyone. A family friendly Bar and grill by day and by evening a hopping nightclub. Live Music, amazing collection of Retro Arcade games that is one time pay for a bracelet and play as much as you want. A speak easy style club in the back and even a rooftop party area that includes a stage for live music. A must go to place

The food was not bad at all, and the service was pretty good. The only problem I had is that after my lunch at retro, I had gotten food poisoning. A few hours after I had lunch at retro I had gotten really sick. But I excused it and went on with my day, I had a little headache and my stomach was aching. A few minutes later I had threw up my lunch and went to bed. The next day I realized I had gotten food poisoning and I even went to the pharmacy to buy medication because I was so sick. But I just started feeling good and I wanted to write a review. Like I said, the food was really good, the wings were amazing and the service was good. But I'm writing this review for people to just be cautious.

The atmosphere was lit up with neon lights with a bar in the center. The food was decent my kids love pizza. The Garlic Knots are good and the fried pickles are yummy too. The games are upstairs FYI ladies don’t wear a skirt if you don’t want the downstairs level seeing everything ? because there is a spot you can walk over that you can see through the floor. Bracelets were $10 to play all games for as much as you want. Don’t expect tickets because there isn’t any. Got to play some of the games I used to play as a kid, and my kids enjoyed them , too! Now FYI they will open a tab for you at the bar, but don’t forget to close it out like we did. Because they will charge you and 18% gratuity fee.

Ben here a few times and this last time I was there the pizza was horrible. It has gone downhill for some reason since the opening.

Retro is in the heart of the entertainment district downtown. Walk in to a classy Bar & Grill atmosphere with a huge wrap-around bar with lots of clear acrylic countertops and snazzy colored LED lighting. Plenty of table seating to enjoy some really good bar food, very tasty & definitely better than what you might expect. Dark walls, more LED lighting highlights, and an awesome sound system round out this space for a great addition to your downtown outing. But wait, there's more! You might barely notice the arcade/video game area which is upstairs. You could spend the entire evening just enjoying the food & drinks downstairs. The are classic pinball machines lining one wall, and retro arcade video game machines including classics such as (Ms) Pac-Man, Mortal Kombat 2, Galaga, Football, shoot-em-up games, cycle racing games, and more forming a center divider from the more physical basketball, golf, and skeet-ball, and air hockey machines. These are definitely "retro" so don't expect the hottest, newest machines, but a wristband purchase of about $15 (discounted later in the day to $10) gets you unlimited one-day access. You can easily enjoy an hour our two here and not play all of them, but stay as long as you like.

Food was incredible. We got a pizza and I absolutely loved it. Upstairs is the arcade. It's so fun and they have an awesome collection of games. The rooftop is such a fun atmosphere! They had a live band playing, and it just made for such a fun night. A fun place for a night out with friends or family!!!
