First time to order from this place. Went to Drive thru, waited more than 15 minutes. Asked for okra, got fries instead. Asked for onion rings and got a few of those. Got chicken tenders and batter tasted like fish ???‍♀️NOT GOING BACK!!!!!!

Been going here since they were on Leopard and love their chicken and livers, the mash is rich and the gravy is good too! Here they have fried pickle spears and their ranch is really good they don't give you packets it comes in a little sauce container. So good! Now I need chicken shack asap lol! I don't go too often because it can get pricey however it is worth it when I can!

I've eaten here twice and was never disappointed (I am a picky eater) New here from Colorado and I honestly like the chicken shake more than churches and you can get gizzards and liver and those are hard to find they also have fish products the price isn't high at all and the food is Definitely worth it the people are so nice and welcoming 10 out of 10 highly recommend

Finally stopped into this location after passing by numerous times. I am so glad that I did! The food and atmosphere were amazing. This is by far one of the best chicken spots in Texas. The chicken was both crunchy and tasty. The onion rings, although crunchy could have used a bit more flavor, and I am still a bit undecided on the coleslaw. Overall, though, well worth the trip, and I will most like dine in on my next visit

Wonderful down home restaurant to enjoy delicious food & great service!!The portions are more than satisfying. I'm not a big fried food fan but who doesn't get a craving for some home cooked fried chicken every once-in-a-while. For me, it's fried chicken livers! I had more than enough to take home for lunch the next day!I had to box more than half my dinner to go to leave room for the chocolate buttermilk pie. I'll be taking a hike to work those calories off but it was well worth it!!It's a sweet little, down home, family atmosphere kinda place for a great meal!We thoroughly enjoyed it!! Kid-friendliness: Good, wholesome atmosphere!

Don't come here if you're hungry. I usually go for a subway or taco joint, but was rather hungry and decided to again try CS, as my colleagues know the owner and eat there several times a month. Ordered the 4pc white with broccoli and mash potatoes. Broccoli was mushy, like it had been in a pot of water for quite some time. Mash potatoes were pretty good once you got through removing the top 1/2 smothered in white gravy...All not a huge deal, but of the 4 pieces of chicken I ordered, I got three (I'll be fair and say larger) bites of chicken, and that was after mutilating the two useable chicken pieces. There were two pieces that had ZERO meat on them. After about 5 minutes, $18 and three messy bites later, I took care of my trash, threw everything out and headed across the parking lot to subway. The diet coke was good and fresh.

The chicken was MID at best. Over fried in what seemed to be dark, unfiltered oil. No seasoning. The Mac and cheese looked and tasted like Velveeta boxed Mac and cheese.Highly disappointed, after I walked a mile, from my hotel room, in anticipation of a good meal. Not worth the 25 dollars paid for 3 piece white, two sides, a slice of meh coconut cream pie, and a soda.
