⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We used the Sushi Loft for a Wedding Anniversary gathering, and this place exceeded our expectations! Everything was very clean, and the service was amazing with no flaws or delays despite having a party of 20! Alyssa, our waitress was just the greatest!!!! She was very kind and patient, and very very helpful! We were able to put little decorations on the table, making it even more personal for our event! The drinks and food were fantastic! Michele made sure to answer all of our questions prior to our event and she was very informative on everything! We will definitely reserve this place for future events!!!!

Most creative rolls I have ever had… will be back for sure. Eco lab washers are a plus and make sano cleanup work for sanitation of glasses and dishes.

Good food, Hannah was a great waitress. Thank you for everything, Hannah. It's very cold inside. I had to grab a jacket, that's why the atmosphere got a 3 star. Sushi and oysters are half off from 3-6. And they have military discount.

I went out for dinner on Sunday and the sushi was amazing! However, as I was having dinner at the bar, there were several roaches on the bar, which made me lose my appetite. I let the bartender know and he took a napkin and killed one of roaches. He apologized and stated that since we are close to the water is hard to control the pest situation. Not reassuring...

We arrived in CC at noon and ate lunch at the Water Street Oyster Bar. Have not had oysters on the half shell as good since I ate at a restaurant on the Weir on Galway Bay. And, my sashimi was as good as the best I had in Tokyo. My wife had a poke bowl of tuna and pineapple which was outstanding. All in all, a very good lunch. Not to mention the key lime pie! Great place for fresh seafood. Highly recommend.

We love our Corpus Christi! Barely dropped our bags in the room before we headed to Water Street Oyster Bar! The entire experience never ceases to amaze us. Of course, all the seafood is amazing, but the staff just makes it that much better. Been coming to Corpus for over 60 years. Thank you Water Street for continuing the tradition!

The food taste like it’s been drug through a slime covered fish skin. We waited for 1 hour on a slow day to be served. The place looks cool on the inside, but they have a long way to go for good tasting sushi. Price is extreme for what it is. Definitely Tumbs down.

Every time I’ve been here it’s always a great experience. Sushi was on point like always, the Philly roll never disappoints. My girlfriend had the blackened chicken fettuccine pasta and she absolutely loved it. She is very critical on food and doesn’t hold back her opinion so it had to be good for her to rave about it all day. The best part of our dining experience was our amazing waiter Joey, he was so fun and helpful when we’re deciding our meal. He also was very attentive to us and made sure that we had an amazing experience. He deserves to be acknowledged and rewarded for his great customer service skills.

The ambience and atmosphere were very nice along with the staff. Happy Hour is daily from 3-6. We ordered the Volcano roll (originally $19) a Spicy Salmon Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll along with Tuna and Salmon Nigiri which are not on the happy hour menu. The quality of the fish is pretty solid for South Texas and was impressive. However, the sushi rice was a bit hard making the sushi dry. We were able to get the Volcano roll for $9.5 which is fair but $19 being the original price is pretty wild. Overall the experience was solid during happy hour and if you’re in the area craving sushi. I’m sure the other seafood options at Water Street are good quality.

We are local, might eat here three times a year as it’s always packed with what seems to be tourist & the wait time can be very long & it can be very loud in there. Yesterday after attending a funeral, around 1:00 p m it didn’t look crowded so we decided to stop. It wasn’t very busy. For some reason, we are always seated in the small room. Didn’t care for waitress right off & her long painted fingernails. When will wait staff ever stop says “guys” when it’s NOT both guys but definitely a girl & a guy?! Anyway, she gives us the carafe of not very cold water for the 2 tiny glasses that hostess brought with us to the table, but no silverware, she tells us about some appetizers, referring to one as sweet & spicy crab meat in mushrooms, then leaves to go get drinks, husband had ordered unsweetened ice tea with lemon I ordered water with lemon. She says: I’ll bring some lemons. I was distracted waiting on a call from my over 90 year old mom but I distinctly remember her stating: I’ll bring lemons. So here comes husband’s ice tea & a tiny container of lemon wedges. NO ICE WATER for me!! Guess the complimentary not cold water with tiny glass is all I get! Strike one. Just shook my head and drank the whole darn carafe of water, never brought more but sure gave husband another glass of ice tea, WITH ICE. Come on it’s a hundred degrees outside. Brings 2 pieces of their bread, then later brings the crab appetizer. Well, they were swimming in what everyone should know as New Orleans style BBQ sauce, but waitress called it sweet and spicy. Gawd. We had already ate a piece of bread while waiting so I said I need another piece of bread, she brought two. Husband gets his wedge salad. Waitress says shouldn’t be much longer, Yes, I did say that we were local, had attended a funeral and was on our way home and not in a big hurry, BUT, Then wait, wait, wait. Place is almost empty now. Out comes husband’s broiled/grilled over thirty dollar plate. Nothing for me! THEN comes ONLY my baked potato in a BOWL!! WTH?? No it was not hot but warm and what $3.00, how many strikes now?Gawd. Still, no entree for me so I start eating the baked potato God forbid it gets any colder. Then comes my fried, yeah takes less time than the husband’s meal to prepare but hey, who knows what’s going on by this time. My fried platter of four OVER cooked, OVER battered shrimp and four of the SMALLEST OYSTERS ONE HAS EVER SEEN!!!!! AND THE GREASY BATTER IS FALLING OFF AT THAT! Another WTH. We know it’s not oyster season, but they are available & this place is growing their own now, but, take them off your menu when they are that tiny, that should be an embarrassment. Waitress says as she puts plate down: “new fry person, she gave you French fries even though you didn’t order them, you don’t have to eat them!” Yes she said that! Husband asks how the oysters are & he knew I was upset & apparently so did waitress, over hearing us as she was cleaning table next to us, she didn’t come over but sent a manager, maybe, as she didn’t introduce herself but had the nerve to say hi how are things? She didn’t go to other tables before this. I said look at these oysters! Menu states DUSTED with corn meal. She says do you want more shrimp? I said no I wanted oysters. Let me get you some more. Sure came back quicker than the whole meal did! But oysters were the same. I told her about the slowness, etc, all she said was sorry. She could care less, then said she’ll take it off my bill. Good idea cuz it’s not edible & I’m not paying for it. Waitress comes & asks me if I want a to go box! WTH?! I said this plate belongs in the garbage. Husband says his meal was good, I said well you never complain even if it wasn’t and I could see that the shrimp skewer was burnt. But he gets embarrassed easily. I said: it’s your HARD EARNED MONEY!!! And me, who always, always takes pics DIDN’T take pics of the horrible meal with the cornmeal breading trying to stick to the quarter size, maybe, oysters, the thick panko like burnt breading shrimp. I have the recei

While on vacation at the coast and choose Water Street Oyster Bar. We loved the atmosphere. Unfortunately the meal was mediocre. The dozen oysters were the smallest oysters we've ever had. The house margarita was terrible, tasted like it was made with a sweet & sour mix, not with fresh lime juice. (I had to ask the waitress for limes to squeeze in it). The grilled drum special was over cooked & over seasoned. The rice was way too salty. We like seasonings but it was overpowering.
