Took my Wife, Daughter, Son-in-laws mom and his Aunt to Bayview Restaurant for Mother's Day dinner. It was well worth the drive from Georgetown Texas. Great spot, unfortunately rain had us inside but nonetheless; reviews and reputation proceeded this place well. We will definitely be back.

We sat on the patio overlooking the lake. Had the “popcorn” shrimp appetizer with perfectly cooked juicy shrimp. The ribeye was nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection. We ordered the mushrooms, street corn, twice baked potatoes and Mac and cheese to share and all were delicious! Chloe was very attentive and friendly!

I'm a retired exec chef. This restaurant is managed professionally in all categories. Entertained family for Mothers Day. Food, beverage and service were all excellent. What a refreshing experience!!!!

Loved having the dinner menu available for Lunchtime — please keep this up!! The redfish/avocado appetizer was simply fabulous, as was the redfish/risotto entree. The popcorn shrimp appetizer was delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My son in law is Parisian so is used to fine dining. He said it was one of the best meals he's eaten.

Might think about seating families with babies & small tots in areas with same situations. We were seated with lots of little kids around us and it was loud. My kids are 14 & 18, so they're very well behaved. Also, the waitress was sweet & helpful, but she talked at an extremely loud volume. Loved the menu choices. Thanks.

We've been to BayView multiple times and normally it's an outstanding experience. This last time was a disappointment. Our server was really awkward. She didn't give us the specials, I didn't know there were any until I heard the server at the other table talk about them. The cocktails are all premade and our server couldn't recommend an alternative. I finally asked for a drink and it was terrible. I ordered the pesto pasta bowl and it was really bland tasting. The s'mores cake Dessert was described a graham cracker cake but it was just a carrot cake. It was a terrible mixture with the chocolate and marshmallow. It'll be a while before we go back after that lack luster evening.

Waitress was slow and not very accommodating. I wanted to add beans and rice, but she kept saying the chef would not be able to provide. I told her several times that I would pay for this and she wouldn't go out of her way to acquire.

The view is spectacular from this restaurant. Facing West makes it perfect for watching the sunset during a late dinner. The food is absolutely delicious. I have tried a variety of menu items and you cannot go wrong. Never been a big dessert person, but I will order the creme brulee and/or carrot cake every time! The service is great but on a really busy night, it can be a little slow - but it is easy to get someone's attention so nothing to frown over. The management is fantastic and very involved with their patrons and staff. You can tell they really care about the restaurant and excelling in customer service.

We are regulars and love this restaurant. Our only issue this night was that both of our fish plates were severely overcooked. We understand that every kitchen has a bad night. We will frequent the spot as often as our schedule will allow.

Was our first in hopefully many visits. Truly enjoyed being there. At this point, the only disappointing part was the fact we got there earlier than should. Missed the sunset view.

A/C is out. Manager said it's 76 degrees and part is in order. Flies all over the restaurant. Pork chop was great, Salmon was great, Ribeye steak had a lot of marble and tough.

The A/C was broken. It was very warm. Our waiter appeared to be new. He forgot our drink orders several times. Both a friend and I ordered filets. Hers came out looking like a filet nicely cooked. Mine look like a flat iron steak and was tough and over cooked. Normally we have great service. This was a very different experience. I hope it was an isolated incident!!!!

The restaurant was better about 1 years ago. I had the blue crab and was so sick after I got home, it was awful. I mentioned to the waitress she just dismissed me. Also we asked to split our bill she said she couldn't then charged our card for 3/4 of the bill. I won't be going back for a long time. Hopefully they get it together.

We have been to this. Restaurant several times when in the area. This time, it was unexpectedly different. Our server did not make us feel welcome and the side items that came with our dinners were not seasoned at all. I ordered the same entree I had loved last visit and was disappointed.

The food and drinks were about what you'd expect, for the area. Tammy was excellent on service and very knowledgeable as well as caring. Even with the port/ dam in view, the views are spectacular. Don't really have any complaints that would keep me from returning. It was a great recommendation for The Retreat on the Hill!!!
