The hostess told us that since we were 9 people we couldn’t eat here because they cannot sit more than 8 people and they could not split us or split the check we were going to put it all in one ticket but since we were 9 it was impossible to sit us they rather loose over 300 dollars of business it was our first time here and we drove all the way from Katy because we heard it was good. Needless to say the food may be good but the customer service was horrible we went on Good Friday at 7 pmManager did not want to see us

We went from eating there twice a week during crawfish season to I will not spend another dime in there. The hostess had a horrible attitude because we asked for a booth and she had to clean it. Then our waitress was even worse. We had to go to the bar to get our own drinks. She brought people that came in after us their food while we still waited. Our cheese sticks were cold when she finally decided to bring them to us. We have never walked out of a restaurant, but after waiting over an hour and not even being able to get a refill I asked for our check, and to speak to the manager. He took the cheese sticks off. What a joke. Then the waitress and hostess proceeded to wish us a wonderful evening and laughed as we were leaving. I guess they thought that was cute. We've lived in crosby for almost 10 years. Never once went to crawfish shack. Have always eaten here instead. Really disappointed in how the treat their customers now. I guess now I see why so many others go to crawfish shack.

We have always enjoyed bringing family here, until today. TERRIBLE night to bring the family. Half the place was a "private" party with a DJ that should have been held at a bar. The music was extremely loud. Many paying customers were furious about the load music. You couldn't even hear the person sitting next to you. I can't believe how inconsiderate the place was to the families trying to enjoy a nice dinner. Maybe the party should have been held outside instead of paying customers having to take their food home or outside.

The wait staff is rude and on this particular day, we waited for 30 minutes before anyone approached us ‼️ ALL I kept hearing once someone went to get someone, is I'm SORRY!!! This place is not it, EVER ‼️‼️Parking: TOO SLOWWWW & RUDE‼️‼️

Terrible service, terrible wait (an hour not busy), terrible food. There's really no justification for how bad this place is. Not to mention, it smells like raw sewage while walking in.

We should have known by the intense sewage smell walking in to the restaurant that this place was going to be a giant hot mess. The service was atrocious and took over an hour to get our food. When we did, it was inedible. I took one bite of this chicken sandwich and it completely fell apart. It was so overcooked in some spots I actually couldn’t chew it. The lettuce was wilted. Mind you in the picture, I did not take apart the sandwich, that’s legitimately how it fell apart. We could not wait to get out of this place, such a bummer because we were looking forward to trying it. We usually have a TON of grace when eating out, to the point I will eat the wrong meal and not say anything…I mean this place was just bad. The fries were the only good thing. Ended up going down the road to McDonald’s after to get a burger because I was still hungry when we left.

WTH IS GOING AT JOHN E’s.We have been coming here for years and we have never experienced such horrible service as we did today. We had dinner here on Friday Night 1/26/22024 and experienced bad service, but there was not waiting for a table. Today 2/02/2024 we experienced the worst service. We checked in with the host “30 minutes wait”. It ended up being 1 hour wait. We finally get a table and ordered our drinks and meals when waitress came so we wouldn’t have to wait any longer. It took about 25 minutes to get our drinks. Then it took another 20 minutes for them to tell us they were out of Crawfish so we left. I am very observant on which waitress is working hard so we can sit at her tables because I am a good tipper! Long story short….PREPARE for a long night here. Food is great and I will never take that away from them, but I probably won’t be coming back for a very long time. They obviously need servers and they even “now hiring” signs yet they have no applications smh. TIGHTEN UP JOHN E’s. You are going to lose customers this way.
