If you moved here from the east coast, you know it's a struggle finding good Chinese food. I was raised in New York and this is hands down the best New York Chinese food restaurant (they are from NY) in Texas. Trust me, I know. I'm a foodie and I've lived in Texas for over 15 years. Everything about this place is authentic NY, the food is amazing and the service is like no other. The best!!.

When I moved to Cypress 7 years ago, China Wok was my go to place for Chinese food. Over the years, the quality of the food has gone down. I have been disappointed with the food for the pat couple of years. I thought that I would give them another chance.Yesterday was by far the worst. I ordered 2 House Special Wonton Soups. I was so disappointed. The soup had no flavor. It tasted like they just poured some hot water over the meat and vegetables. I added soy sauce and siracchi Sauce. The soup was still very bland. I definitely wouldn't recommend the house special wonton soup. The egg rolls were kind of bland. That will probably be the last time that I order from China Wok.

The people are courteous. The food is fresh and flavorful. Service is on point. Wonderful experience. Most people do carryout. I've been going there for 15 plus years. I've never had an issue.Vegetarian options: It's Chinese.

A delicious surprise. Our usual is closed on Monday so we tried this place and we’re going to order from here again. Orange chicken is sweet saucy but still crispy. Dumplings are good. Lo mein is good. The family dinner selection comes with 1 more item than most places that only give you an egg roll and crab Rangoon. The extra chicken skewer is so good.

They change management. The Lo Mein was the greatest before now it's horrible. The egg drop soup was the bomb now it's all watery. Chicken Skewers were overcooked and burned, fried noodles were stale and the grease seems to leave an after taste of old and not freshly changed. Will not buy from here again.

My wife & got take out yesterday. She got shredded pork in garlic sauce & I ordered the beef & vegetables + house special fried rice.My wife enjoyed her meal but I can't say the same. I found the sauce on the beef & vegetables to be gelatinous & lacking flavor. The fried rice was also bland. Not to mention that one of those dishes contained a small piece of plastic wrapping that ended up in my mouth. Personally I won't be returning.

Ordered the orange chicken, hot n sour soup and hot spicy bean curd for dinner tonight. Not good food. It arrived hot and there were good vegetables in the bean curd, but everything was bland and unflavored. The orange chicken was dry and definitely old. Very unfortunate. Do not recommend.
Best Chinese food in Cypress!! They forgot my beef and broccoli but they brought it to me fast and gave me extra rice. It was extra hot omg super delicious thank you!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️?

I've been eating here since I was in the 5th grade... I'm now in my 20's and having my first kid. I think that says something. If you don't get what I'm saying, I'm basically saying their food has been the best, quintessential Chinese takeout food I've had the pleasure of eating for over a decade. Kind people, family owned, flavorful food, reasonably priced. Delivery is fast when you want it to be --don't order on a Friday night during the dinner rush!

BEST takeout around! We have tried other Chinese takeout in the area no one even comes close. Yes the portions are smaller but still quite adequate. You CAN eat inside but they only have a couple of tables. GREAT VALUE and outstanding food.

Entrees are good... Fried rice and Lo Mien is dry and bland.. I normally get my Entrees at China Wok and go get all my rice and noodles, soups and egg rolls from Imperial Cafe. Imperial has good Entrees too, but they are super stingy over there. China Wok definitely a larger portion for cheaper price. And about equal quality.
