It is so nice to have such authentic Cuban restaurant in Cypress Love the way inside restaurant set up very cozy and comfortable chairs . My dish was sirloin steak with onions which cooked perfectly. Husband fried shredded beef which was tender and full flavor . Plantains were cooked on the outside and tender inside . Empanadas beef had great flavor but warning they come fire hot ?the black beans were seasoned perfectly. Rice was tender . Love mom and pop shops go give a try you will not be disappointed

Let me start with the service! The ladies behind the counter were very helpful in deciding an authentic coffee, which was spectacular!! I had the cortado with almond milk.. spectacular! For food I had a Cuban sandwich.. not a mustard fan so had Mayo. This sandwich was delish.. I had to eat almost eat alll of it after being stuffed! The other dishes looked amazing and have heard they are spectacular as well! The restaurant has a great chill vibe with Cuban music... love the energy. I can't wait to try more dishes from this establishment! You can tell the owners and staff are hard working and eager to please to make it in this tough restaurant industry and anyone who says different is an uneducated, entitled moron... js will be back many times!!

this is a racist establishment that refused to accept a to go order for a cold sandwich 18 minutes before posted closing time from a disheveled white man that after working 12 hours only wanted a cold cuban sandwich to go. anyone who has ever dined with me will tell you, i tip 30, 50 and often 100% of the bill, even for take out. this restaurant and it's owner does not deserve to be in the "food service" business. and he's a teacher. unacceptable and should be closed down for racial discrimination and refusal to serve a paying customer for no reason other than being a white man that just got off work. a quick search reveals he never stays in business long. i see why. if you treat all working white men like you treated me you deserve bankruptcy. i would say the food sucked, but they refused to take my order. have a happy chaper 7, again! and again, and again. how many businesses have you bankrupted? well it's about to be one more. happy trails carlos!

This place is amazing! Definitely authentic Cuban dishes! My husband and I love everything we've tried. Our favorites are the ham and chorizo with cheese croquettes for appetizers. After that, I usually order the ropa vieja(shredded beef) and my husband orders the garlic shrimp. All of the meals are served with black beans and white rice. For dessert, my favorite is flan. All of the menu items are tasty, though.Also, the service is impressive! Our beautiful and wonderful waitress always greets us with a smile and always remembers our favorite meals!We're so grateful to have found this little piece of Havana in Cypress! Keep up the great work!
