I came here on a very slow afternoon with my good friend and our server Rebecca did not provide good service. Upon ordering, Rebecca decided to make several comments about my friends order telling her how “hungry she is” and “how much she can eat”. This was highly inappropriate as we planned to share and take food home. When our meals did arrive, Rebecca took it upon herself to give us our food packed up to-go despite us telling her we planned to dine in, and she immediately asked us whether our checks were separate or not before we could even open our food. Reminder we were the ONLY TABLE and once we proceeded to eat she made another comment that my friend was going to finish it all there. When we did ask for a manager she lied about him being on break and once we finally spoke to John via phone call, he was VERY rude and said that a server fat shaming someone was within “her right to do”. Don’t come here unless you’re okay with rude comments being made against you or your loved ones.

Waitress was very rude to our party of 5. And the food was mediocre. Steak had no flavor.

This place absolutely knocked it out of the park! All of the sushi rolls we picked out were delicious, but the Volcano roll was especially AMAZING. My Fiancé had it when he was 17 and hadn’t had another that compared since. Trying it again this many years later and he said it was just as fantastic as the first time he had had it years before. I will also say I really appreciate that the menu had pictures for all the rolls, it makes it way easier to select what you are wanting to order when you have the visual of what they look like. We were both extremely impressed with our waitress Genna. She was super helpful and got us anything we needed and was very prompt and friendly with her service. She made the experience even better, and we hope to have her as our waitress again in the future. Thank you so much again! We will definitely be back!!

showed up at 4:30pm waited 5 mins to be greeted and sent to a table. Tall Asian guy help us and mess up my order, the chef which I tipped forgot to give us the dipping sauce. Wife pointed out dirty glass for out hot green tea, tried to flag someone down I just got up myself and got it, then the guy said what are you doing, I'm like you guys are short handed I can get a replacement faster. That glass was greasy too so I'm like thank goodness we brought our bottle waters. I really wasn't trying to make a big deal about it but the reviews are right this place has many issues. I did tip the chef and the waiter good even though the food and the service and cleanness wasn't all there. I order Chicken with extra chicken and fried rice, they forgot the chicken waiter forgot to put it on the order. I just deal with it.

First time here. Not a busy SaturdayOrdered Hot Saki - I liked itI wanted to try something simple to see how they taste:Gyoza - It says pan fried and it was deep fried. I hate deep fried due to the oil reuse and I ordered pan fried one and I get a deep fried. Dipping Sauce with it is not intriguing. Not goodTexas Roll: It’s too dry and very less smelt eggs around it. Picture attached. Would have been better to their standardsJoe was good on the service and attentive

Came for dinner on a Wednesday at 8:30. We were one of 3 tables occupied. Waiter never brought our drinks till I stood up and tried to get glasses of water myself. One of my kids asked for no veggies but the cook just dumped them on top of his food without even saying anything, so I had to stop eating and spend time picking them all out of his food. Then they started cleaning around us while we were eating, sweeping the floor, banging chairs, using very strong smelling cleaner to wipe down the tables. I literally lost my appetite, which is rare. This place has gone downhill fast. It used to be a great restaurant and we used to eat there weekly. Now it's just sad and gross

Overall the experience here was horrible because of the waitress. Ours was Kylani and upon first getting to our table she didn't even say hello, first words were "What drinks do we want". When we asked her about one of the items on the menu, she said she didn't know anything about it because people rarely order it. No attempt to go ask someone else or anything. After we placed our orders and the food arrived, she never came back to check on us or even to refill our drinks. Which caused me having to go to the bar and get some help. After we paid, when she dropped off the receipt not a single word of thank you or anything of the sort. We've been to The Woodlands location and it was something completely different where people were at least decent to you and acknowledged you being there. I made sure to reflect our overall experience with the small tip that was left.

I have been to several Shogun locations and this one has been the worst. The food was great, but now I have been experiencing digestive discomfort, which is first coming from the franchise. The worst part of this dining experience was how Stephanie felt it necessary to confront us on the amount of tip left behind. For starters, we felt rushed during the dining experience nor did I feel like we were properly tended to like other patrons. I did not pay so I could not control the tip amount left behind. Tips are appreciated but not mandatory, especially when the staff behaves like this. The way she handled the interaction was extremely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. I will never be returning back to this location.
