I gave this location 3 stars not because of its service but because my standards for 4 stars and above is extremely high. Rhis is my first time coming. Todays day of service was on a Sunday and it was not very busy at 4pm on Fathers Day. I recognize that eating out on Fathers day is not nearly as popular Mothers day but i wanted to share the context of the resturant and whether it played a role in its normal course of business. The location is small but cozy and family like, not confined. This is a neighborhood eatery close to other larger resturants and i hope they succeed. The service was fast and friendly. I order a trio which gives you the choice to select 3 items. Select are unrestricted to Seafood gumbo, Chicken & sausage Gumbo, Crawfish Etoufee, Jambalaya or Red Beans. My selections of both gumbos and the etoufee. The gumbos where not bad but it could have had more meat ingredients. Perhaps it was made with very little or perhaps it wad just my serving. The tastes were ok but not overwhelming with flavors. Despite this i happy eat my portions. My son ordered Boudin ball appetitizer and the "Limited Time Offer" of Shrimp and grits. That was a surprising choice since he usually refuses grits at home. However we were both pleasantly surprised how tasty and good both items were. We will viait again.

Ok 1st off the lost Cajun should have stayed lost cause it's lost it's Cajun or never found what Cajun actually is hell idk but My wife and I came here cause of the 4 star rating, she got the shrimp po boy and I got the fish an shrimp platter. The food was not good it was sooooooo bland, it had no FLAVOR AT ALL!!!!!!!! All I could taste was frying oil. My wife an I had to add Cajun seasoning, tater sauce I even had to ask for ranch and hot sauce to make the food taste better and as I look around, there was nothing but older people inside this restaurant like in their 50s and 60s lol so now I know why the food is so flavorless and so distasteful ughhhhh but I will not be coming back here no time soon or at all I should have sticked with my first mind to go to ORLEANS Cajun restaurant near i10 an westgreen where the food has flavor and you won't be disappointed at all I mean seriously you will get the bang for your buck $$$$$$$ at ORLEANS just saying but I wanted to try something new but I'll stick with what I know cause THE LOST CAJUN KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT CAJUN FOOD ‍‍

Noticed this little gem while at Saltgrass a few weeks ago. Hubby was hungry for fried catfish tonight, so I suggested we try it out. Let me tell ya...AMAZING! Started with the hush puppies. Delicious. Was intrigued with the cat-touffe. It is fried catfish topped with crawfish etouffe. Chef's kiss!! Hubby got the seafood platter with fried okra. Best fried okra he has ever had. And the service...hands down, the best in town. 10 stars. Will definitely go back again to try the boiled crawfish

Everything was rather bland and underwhelming. Etouffee had a strong raw flour taste. The most disappointing was the shrimp poboy, which was made using tiny little salad shrimps. I was surprised but would've been ok with it if it tasted ok. The shrimp was just so chewy and the entire sandwich bland. After a few bites in I was honestly a little bit offended. For the price, it should've been a lot better.

The Shrimp and grits are so good they will put you to sleep. Do not eat this dish if you need to remain active after eating.I met the owner and he is really nice. I placed an online order and had to rush from work to pick it up. I was little late and the restaurant was nearing closing time but he welcomed me with a smile and encouraged me to return.Photos: Gator bites, Voodoo pasta and Andouille Sausage/chicken gumbo

My dad wanted to try out this place after we drove past it. When we went, there was pretty short on staff, with only two servers and one cook in the back. Although we were the first customers in there when they opened, we waited for about 8 minutes to have our order taken; I understand they just opened when we went, though. The fish sandwich, which has a fish filet, cajun sauce, and pickles, was delicious, and the portion of the cajun fries was great! Hopefully, the service will be better next time I go back here.

Can't vouch for the food as we waited 55 minutes for 1 lb of boiled shrimp and 2 potatoes and 2 ears of corn. It never came so we left. The waiter was apologetic and said he was trying to hurry the kitchen up. At the 50 minute mark, he stopped by and said he was sending the owner over. The person that we thought to be the owner was headed to our table but someone stopped and asked a question and he went back into the kitchen. I think, after waiting that long, we should have been a priority.

I wish I could give it 10 stars but I can only give it five... if it's your first time ask for the sample plate. The owner is super nice. Cool guy. Order anything off of the menu and you won't be disappointed

We went to try this place out. We got fast service and the crawfish are priced right. Appetizers came out fast and service was good.

Appetizers: sampler plate -we ordered the fried pickles, fried shrimp (forgot the name) & boudain balls. Didn't care for the shrimp but other 2 appetizers were good! Would recommend. Entrees: seafood gumbo -gumbo was just okay. Shrimp was over cooked and tiny, rice was a touch undercooked. French bread to dip was a plus. Hubby got a shrimp poboy with fries and said his was good. Dessert: beignet bites -these were just okay too. Slightly overcooked on the outside & inside was completely hollow. A plus was when we said it was our first time visiting, our waitress brought out a sample plate. Waitress was nice, knowledgeable & attentive.

Food and service horrible, tried it 3 times just to be sure, still awful. Go to Captain Brad's for a real restaurant.

Well this is usually my go to crawfish restaurant but unfortunately they were sold out. So I tried the gumbo and wasn't impressed. Very small amount of shrimp and crab It was warm not hot. Not impressed. I'll stick to the crawfish from now on
