The wait was a bit long. Probably about 20+ minutes. They give you a toy and that's like your order number which I thought was fun and quirky. We got two birdie baos: one with zero spice and another with one spice level up with cheese and birdie sauce. For some sides we got Mac and cheese. The chicken itself was quite good, tasty and crunchy! The veggies that come on it are sour so stay away if you don't like pickle stuff. Also the bao bun was soggy when we received our order because of the pickled veggies. The Mac and cheese was also a bit too rich for us. We ended our meal with a very strong after taste.

First time coming here and will be my last. A coworker and I came here for lunch today around 12pm, and ordered I the birdie fries, chicken sandwich on texas toas, cheez wiz sauce and dill pickle ranch sauce. I literally waited 45 min for my food only to be missing the ranch sauce and the food tasted mediocre at best. It looked like there was only 2 people working, the cashier and the cook, during the lunch rush no less, so I was trying to be patient but 45 min?? Also the cook and the cashier were exchanging not so pleasant words while I was waiting; definitely not a good look. Coworker had to leave because she had a meeting and she said she was missing the sauce from her bag as well.

Asian fusion fried chicken. Probably the best fried chicken I have ever had. So moist and tender inside and perfectly crispy outside. And the flavor! The chef and recipe creator came out from the back to have me try a new sauce he had just made that was incredible. Portion size was surprisingly large. Really fun interactive environment too. I am definitely eating here the next time I’m in Dallas!

Came here yesterday and they have two employees and can’t keep up. Ran out of all food yesterday. The events going on in town have been planned for over a year so there is no reason for them to not be prepared. Went back today and waited in line for 45 mins for them to say they they are completely out of chicken. It’s only 2pm. They did not let the rest of the line know and just kept us waiting there for nothing.

Only two employees working; one on the counter and one cooking. When I got in line, the lady at the counter disappeared for 15 minutes. Finally the lady came back and started taking orders. When I got to the register, she said “one minute” and disappeared again. After 10 minutes, the cook came out and took my order. The cook deserves a raise for holding the place together. The lady never returned.

Came up on this really awesome chicken experience that made my socks roll up and down! My partner and I walked up on a Saturday to check out their Nintendo NES they had setup and the owner was so welcoming and chill. They also have crayons out with butcher paper to doodle, which we had to of course! We weren't even hungry until we talked about the Birdie Bao - a cooked to order Bao with the crunchiest Nashville chicken we've ever had. Wait patiently, sensei - you will be rewarded. The coleslaw wrapped inside was not your traditional southern mayo bomb. Five stars CLUCK AROUND AND FIND OUT!! thanks Noah and Danny!!

I got the Sunday sandwich and fries and my other siblings got same thing but the potato salad. The food took a little bit long, but it was so worth it. The lady was one of the most sweet people I ever meant. When i sat down and got the food the Sunday sandwich was super delicious, the batter is insane and the sauce is sweet and tangy. They have toasted buns also so it makes it 10x better. The fries were good very seasoned, but the potato salad is 20x better i don't even like potato salad but that was one of the best side dishes i ever tasted. The place is a cool atmosphere there are other stands and a lot of tables and the lady's cleaned are table right after we finished. One of the only tweaks i would have is the expensive price lol, but your getting the bang for ur buck, i paid 50 for 3 people that's a little pricey, but it was worth it.

The menu isn't huge, the prices are a bit on the high side compared to the portions served, the side options are small, and when we went they didn't have all menu option available, as there was a chicken sandwich that had Mac n Cheese on it that my wife wanted, yet at 730 pm on Saturday night, it wasn't to be had. We go there Three Tenders that comes with fries and the Closed on Sunday sandwich with the extra toppings which did boost the cost to about $14.00 for that one sandwich. The chicken, it was really really good!!! Crispy, not overcooked but cooked hat enough too make it brown and crispy YET super moist inside. The seasonings on the batter was really good. The seasonings on the fries I couldn't place, but it was stellar tasting as well. The sandwich was really good tho on the small side, and for $14.00 it seems overpriced since it comes with just the sandwich and no sides. That was disappointing. Overall the food was awesome, I'd eat here again if in the area. Now the reason for the lost star in the rating, this is in a food hall that is not easy to access when driving in, there isn't any easy parking and the nearest parking lot was blocks away. What makes that bad is at night, this is not the safest feeling environment. It sits outside a courtyard where people sit and party with a large projection screen, it was showing the ALCS game with the Texas Rangers on this night. The area is surrounded by panhandlers and homeless folks sleeping in sleeping bags and make shift tents, all in a very dimly lit area. Seating is extremely limited, being a food hall, all the patrons at every chefs spot is vying for a spot to sit and dine. Not a time to be playing musical chairs while fighting crowds with hands full of food. There is a bar in the facility. This chefs spot doesn't serve any drinks, tho he can charge for cups for the tea and soft drinks. Any beer or hard drinks will need to be had at the bar inside this food hall. Aside from the sketchy environment , the food is fantastic.

Man I wanted to like this place. Ordered 2 x return of the Mac. Literally $40 for chicken, fries and Mac and cheese. Ordered it without their sauce which is basically 1000 island dressing. Yuck. It came drenched in their sauce. They cook everything fresh so it took roughly 10 min to come out. Ok props to that... if they get the order right. So we wait 20 to 30 minutes after fixing us new orders, correct orders. The fries are basically frozen crinkle cut fries. The Mac and cheese was ok at best. They included maybe 2 wings worth of meat with this $20 meal. It was not seasoned very well at all. I see why they push their 1000 island dressing so much.At the end of the day we paid $40 and waited 30 minutes for mediocre food and that's being generous. Try another place. These guys aren't where you want to eat. Should have gotten pizza. On top of all of this... they gave our wrong orders to the guys in the next food stall after we touched all over it.

Got the “Closed on Sunday” sando with bacon, lettuce and pepper Jack cheese. It was very good. The fries were also well seasoned.

Did not even try the food, but the service was enough to give it a one star. Guy at the counter just pretty much said the few things they had available at 4 pm on a Sunday when trying to order and was short and rude in his answering. Wouldn't recommend solely on service.

This was my first time trying Birdie and I got the highest listed heat on the small sandwich. (Apparently there's even a higher heat level I'll try next time) But the cashier was super friendly and helped me decide based on my hunger level what to get. So I went with the hell hot and the mac and cheese as my side. Both did not disappoint although I would say I'm not a huge fan of the bread, but that's the only negative. They have good options and I definitely plan to be back.
