It was so quiet there. The music was fitting. The cashier was over the top nice ,kind and patient with my hubby and I,as we made our selections. The Kool aid tasted like 1993 ?. The food was exactly like Instagram posts . It looked just like all the advertisements , we've been seeing on Instagram. We spent 116 dollars for a lot of food tho. Ramen boil w/chicken wings. Boom Shack chicken tenders and shrimp. Boom Shack fish and shrimp. Cajun Shrimp pasta, Blue Raspberry pickle ?. Spicy Honey Mustard wings . And a plain order of fries....

I tried out the boom shack based on an Instagram post, and the food looked great so I figured I would give it a try. I went into the boom shack and place my order after waiting for about 10 minutes for someone to come to the window. I placed my order and it took about 40 minutes for my order to come.I got back and started to eat the shrimp that came in the boom shack pasta, and all of the shrimp were not blackened, but burned.The meal was supposed to include chicken sausage and shrimp There were only two pieces of chicken in the meal, and the order was over saturated with the bed of cheese on the top of it. It was basically pasta sauce, noodles, and cheese and burned shrimp.For $27 I expect it way more than what I got. I didn’t even eat the whole meal. I definitely will not be returning.

I ordered the fried lobster..fish.. cajun fries..seafood boil 7..turkey necks and 2 “koolaids” and a macaroni “seafood” pie.It took an hour to get our order first of all. The fried lobster was very small and unseasoned. The seafood boil had so much grease you couldn’t enjoy it. Shrimp in the boil was over cooked. The turkey neck was seasoned and was drowned in the same grease the boil was in. The fish was over hard. The fries weren’t seasoned well at all. The macaroni “seafood” pie had NO seafood..dry Mac and cheese in a pastry crust. The best thing probably was the watermelon koolaid. Yea..I won’t be back.
Over hyped on Instagram. Don't waste your time driving over to this place. The catfish was real and tasty otherwise everything else was a lackluster. The wait time is ridiculous and not worth it for the food to come out bland.

It’s the fact that I waited 55 minutes and my fries were soggy, the fish and shrimp were fried extra hard with old oil. I called to see if you had any lobster and Mac rolls and was told yes but when I got to the establishment I was told that you were out. I wished I was Keith Lee because I would give you all a 0 all the way around. Then it’s the fact that you can’t get a refund, this was my first and last time going here. HORRIBLE AND VERY OVERPRICED AND OVERRATED.

Normally, I would read the reviews to form an opinion on whether I wanted to dine at an establishment. The customer service was amazing. The woman who took our order was kind, informative, and so friendly. Everything was fresh, hot, seasoned, and delicious. My only complaint would be that the soul roll was a little on the oily side, and the tarter sauce was too spicy for our liking. Definitely a bit cold in the place so ordered and waited in the car. Drove a hour to get me a chicken boil (not a fan of seafood). Drove a hour home, the food was still hot and everything was delicious. You can choose what you want, I got chicken, corn and eggs. Less than 20.00. It was amazing and I definitely will be back!!

I drove all the way from Longview Texas DEEP EAST TEXAS the wait was ridiculous and I came an hour before my hair appointment . I waited so long I asked for a refund and they didn’t want to give me one then gave me my food still making me late to my appointment food is good but not sure if I’ll be back.
