Atmosphere and service was good the Food was highly disappointing! The cinnamon bun was extremely Dry. The Migas was okay but I’ve had way better! We tried the tots the siracha on them was not a good touch.

One of my favorite brunch spots in DFW. The banana foster waffles are amazing!! The interior has a New Orleans vibe.

Breadwinners Uptown was our go to place to grab breakfast after long grueling hours at work. Unfortunately, my recent visit was the worst experience I have ever had as I encountered an incredibly rude, unprofessional hostess/manager.I went there for breakfast/brunch after work to meet a group of friends at 8AM on a Sunday morning. Unbeknown to me, nobody made a reservation for our group, and the rest of the group were not there yet. The hostess/manager placed us on a waiting list and told us that she won’t seat us until everybody is there. Understandably, we agreed because it is a Sunday and also, brunch is their focal point. After a while, members of our group started arriving, and some are minutes away. At that time (8:45 AM), there were a few customers that came in, and you can count how many there were with all the fingers on both hands. We politely asked again if we could at least sit and start ordering since some of us have to leave early anyway, and then those who came later can fill in the seats. The manager/hostess was adamant that she cannot sit us because of how busy they CAN BE during the brunch rush. Then, she gave us two options, either we wait for our entire party, or those that need to leave can have a table. We opted for the latter since we were on a time crunch. Our server (he was good by the way) sat us at a table, where he took our drink/ food orders. Then the hostess/ manager came around the corner YELLING at us that we could not sit at THAT table, where he (our server) had sat us, and she insisted that we move. This was all happening while she sat another party at the adjacent table. SO AWKWARD. Our server apologized and said: “…she's my boss, so I have to do what she says…" That same table we initially sat remained EMPTY until we left at 9:15AM.As for food, I ordered my usual which was the avocado toast, and a chai latte. Both which I typically enjoyed, but after that whole ordeal, I’d say the food alright/unremarkable.Maybe it was me asking the hostess/manager again if we can have a table? Or maybe I just don’t fit in the typical Uptown Dallas brunchers? Maybe it’s Maybelline? Who knows?I’ve dined at places with however many stars they want their names attached, and those that have none but yet so humble and simple. But, Congratulations Bread Winners, as this is a first for me. I have NEVER EVER been yelled at while dining in a restaurant. Needless to say, this is the last time I will ever step foot at your establishment again. It was fun until I was treated like crap.

Not a big reviewer, but felt the need to leave one after having one of the rudest servers I’ve ever had. Host set the tone for service by fighting amongst themselves, then the servers attitude was horrible from the get go, slamming things down on the table, rolling her eyes, etc. My friend asked what type of muffins they had and she told her to go look for her self.We both work in the service industry, so we know what someone having a bad day is like. There was no excuse to be treated like that.

The chicken fried steak was flavorful and filling; if you have a sweet tooth then i definitely recommend the french toast as well! The service was really friendly and there is plenty of seating both inside and outside to accommodate larger groups!

Had breakfast with our daughter and son-in-law before catching our flight back to Florida after an amazing weekend with family. We were greeted by the hostess and seated right away. Our waitress was friendly, professional, and attentive. I loved the atmosphere and decor. The food was delicious and plenty on your plate. I had the breakfast tacos, and I couldn't finish them. Will return when in the area.

My friend and I went here on a slow Monday morning. It was very empty inside. Food arrived quickly, but wasn’t great considering the cost. A standard cup of coffee was $5. Our waitress was just not friendly at all which is the main reason for the 3 stars. She never smiled and seemed to hate her job ? when we paid she just dropped our cards on the table and never spoke to us again. There were zero pleasantries involved. There was another waiter that took care of our payment and he was delightful and very nice.

Not sure what this is, but please do better. Ordered take-out and there’s barely enough gravy for 1 biscuit. Laughable this was allowed to be sent to a customer.

The menu was extensive, offering a wide array of breakfast and lunch options. I decided to try their signature eggs Benedict, and it was absolutely delicious - perfectly poached eggs, savory Canadian bacon, and creamy hollandaise sauce atop a toasted English muffin.

The second time here both disappointing! Food is sub-par for the price. Atmosphere is cool, I guess that's why it stays in business or people really have low expectations in quality food. My little one had pancakes and they were so dry they would have choked a Billy goat. Sent those back! The cinnamon roll super dry as well. I had the salmon and bagel, I truly needed a hand saw to cut the bagel. This place has bread in its name! My wife and both kids decided this would be our last visit.

The food and service are pretty decent, but our car was booted in the neighboring parking lot for being three minutes late, along with two other vehicles. We will not

Cute brunch cafe and bakery. We came in on a slow, rainy Friday afternoon. I cannot say I was impressed by the service. It took longer than expected for how slow the restaurant was and several staff were standing around talking. I was very hungry and thirsty as was my friend. I opted for the Normandy French toast. I would rate it a 3/5. Not much flavor at all, it was just bland and not very good. Did not get the cream cheese flavor if it was even there. The cheese grits, however, were the best part. They are so sultry and savory with the perfect texture. I also enjoyed the warm biscuit plate to start. Overall, I think this place is very trendy but lacking quality where it matters.
