I had an amazing meal at Cafe Momentum in Dallas last night. Upon arrival, I was greeted at the door by an energetic young man who walked me to the host stand. The host escorted me to my table and I was greeted by my server shortly thereafter. I ordered the hummus as my starter and the NY strip as my entree. The hummus was delicious and it was accompanied by radishes, carrots and toasted bread. The NY strip was juicy and cooked to a perfect medium rare. I washed the meal down with a bold red blend. The meal was a 10 out of 10 and I hope you give Cafe Momentum a try.

Had a great experience at Cafe Momentum one of the best restaurant experience in Dallas TX. I have to say the smoked fried chicken was just momentous and tasty experience coupled with the exquisite service by the youths. You cannot help but be mesmerized by the outpouring of authenticity in the service. Highly recommend!!! Also DD was fantastic, keep up the good work.

This place is a gem!!!! Stumbled on it by chance and so glad that we did. The mission of this place is incredible. So moving and well run! The restaurant "transforms young lives by equipping our community's justice-involved youth with life skills, education and employment opportunities."The food was exceptional. Nothing less. Supporting an amazing mission and enjoying wonderful cuisine, all locally sourced, too! It's a win-win-win. Highly recommend!!!

What a spectacular dining experience! The farm-to-table, organic, and locally-sourced food is some of the best I've ever had. The mission of this restaurant, giving children ages 15-19 a second chance while serving patrons and attending their 1-year program, is special. I am so thankful we stumbled upon this restaurant. We will certainly be back!

It was such a great spot downtown. It is easily accessible and “right around the corner” to lots of places you are probably going to. The food was AMAZING and the service was great.
I really wanted to like this place! I know they do great things for the community but I was not impressed at all with my meal. The spinach artichoke dip had some inedible parts of the artichoke in it. The chicken fried steak was thick and greasy and the collard greens were so vinegary they were inedible. I'm leaving here hungry and annoyed. No cocktails, only beer and wine...I understand the interns are going through some youth training program but it would be nice to have a little bit more of an attentive service staff for the price point of these entrees. The girl refilling my water with the rose tattoo on her hand was the one who was most on top of her game in my opinion. I personally wouldn't order the chicken fried steak again or probably come back here but kudos to what y'all do for Dallas Youth

I’m not sure why this restaurant does not have more reviews. Food was great and the restaurant actually has a mission that is beneficial to youth. Additionally there are other locations nationally. Had the steak and it got better with each bite!

Me and my husband had a very long day and we’re staying at a hotel across the street. We found this restaurant for a quick dinner. Our expectations were far exceeded. The food was spectacular and the staff was incredible.

Their Thanksgiving dinner to go was awesome! All of the items exceeded expectations! I ordered for 12 and could have fed 20. The order was ready exactly on time for pick up with instructions on how to heat! Everyone was very pleased and I will definitely do again!
