The kitchen went above and beyond to make a peanut butter sandwich that wasn’t on the menu for my toddler to go. It was much needed and appreciated. They did not have to do that. Our waiter Eric was on point and very helpful

We had a 9:15pm reservation that we showed up on time for not knowing the restaurant closes at 10. Come 9:50 it was very clear we were being pushed out. The waiter delivered the bill, our plates were taken before we were finished eating, and we were told at 10:01 that we had to move to the lobby to finish our drinks. Food was fine and waiter was nice but found it so rude.

Weird to have a “ribeye” served that’s already cut and drizzled in sauce that isn’t even steak sauce. Would expect that in California, but certainly not in Texas. We ended up liking the burger far more. Don’t understand how people have to make reservations in advance and wait for this place. We stayed at the Joule for 3 days and it was dead empty every night. You’re better off getting any steak from a Texas Roadhouse instead of this place.

Tried to just come in for a burger on New Years Eve, and surprised by the “limited menu”. It just felt like a cash grab from the jump, and it apparently killed the kitchen because it took an hour to get our food (restaurant wasn’t that busy) and we only ordered a steak and salad. Both were over priced, steak was ok but the salad was an embarrassment.

Always a well put together environment love the vibe all the bartenders bring to the bar it is my number one spot if you don't believe me when you go look for the cowboy sitting at the bar I'll be there watch.

Like other reviews, had to order and make reservations two days ahead. Waited quite a while for our food (even though I ordered two days prior!). When the pig head arrived it looked great. I went to pull a piece off and it was really tough (this damn things been cooking for two days, right?). Not only was it not hot, it was ice cold, like out of the freezer cold! Waiter comes picks up the pig head for a couple more days cook I guess! IDK cause I never saw it again. Was told that the oven was broke! They offered some other things that I declined, even brought me a steak I didn't order. By this time we had been there over two hours, I was honestly over the whole situation. ?♂️

I went to CBD Provisions for brunch early on a weekend. The staff was attentive, kind, and answered all of our questions. The meal was perfect for a wonderful Saturday. If you're in Downtown Dallas, come check out CBD Provisions.

Why have guests set a reservation, knowing their order and still make them wait an HR?Made reservation for anniversary ahead of time for the Pig's Head. Scheduled a time and was asked to make sure that is the time we wanted. Was also asked what occasion was. We arrive early at 7:10, and we expect to wait a little bit, 30 minutes or since we arrived earlier than set time of 7:30, but then we had to wait an hour after that to have our main entree. Since it was an anniversary and halloween night, we had plans for the night but once the waiter came back to tell us a SECOND time that food was going to take longer than expected, we started canceling some of the plans we had set. We expected to be out by 8:30, not finally be served at 8:30For the price you'd expect some rice and beans like other similar plates (like fajita or carnitas) but nope. The sides we ordered were great, the pork itself was very mid. Disappointed with lack of seasoning giving all the "prep" required and then wait for it to be cooked. The sear was great but other than that, not great. Had a couple taco then ended up giving the rest away.We did get 1 complimentary drink for the long wait, but nothing special for the anniversary, which is fine but other restaurants where we celebrated a birthday, engagement, or even newlyweds give you at least a little something!Wouldn't recommend for a special event. But if looking for a place to hang out downtown, maybe meet for drinks it's good. Anniversary or special event, forget about it. The special feeling goes away every waiting minute.
