Here for the cheesecake, supposed to be highly rated so we were excited to visit. While trying to pick out a slice from their display I noticed an extremely moldy piece amongst the other slices. Looked like a petri dish on top of the piece. But I picked out a non moldy piece and my daughter chose the salted caramel. The crust was soggy on mine. Her was inedible due to the extremely salty caramel - not sure what happend with that but it was BAD. On top of that the cashier asks for a tip while I'm paying for my to go cheesecake, which I think is just tacky and not ok.

I went around to many places to find the best cheesecake in DFW and this is it. It's perfect cheesecake. I've never had a bad item here. Everything is PERFECT!!! I refuse to eat any other cheesecake because it won't compare to this place.

It’s a small place to pick up orders. I’ve never sat down to eat. However, I’ve been ordering g cheesecakes here for years and my family loves the variety cheesecake. Everyone gets the flavor they like and all are awesome. I tried the German chocolate cake, and the Italian cream and both were excellent! Definitely the place for your desserts.!I ordered the chocolate swirl cheesecake for a brunch last weekend and it was perfect!

Cheesecake Royale is definitely the needle in the haystack of hole in the wall bakeries! I kept driving past saying I would stop by but was always on a mission. Luckily I had some free time to stop in and it must've been fate, because when I asked the owner what she would recommend, she stated she had just freshly cut a Black Forest cheesecake. This was by far the best cheesecake I've ever had! It was the perfect level of sweetness without being overly sweet and I could really taste each of the flavors individually & they all complimented each other so well

I pass by your place on Garland Road and am glad I got to stop by and see your beautiful shop and buy myself an entire red velvet cake. I will happily share it with my friends and will come back to get a slice of cheesecake from time to time. This place is perfect for taking something sweet to a gathering of friends. OMG the cheesecake was delicious!!! This is a small bakery that serves sweet treats from cakes, cheesecake, brownies, cake pops, etc. I tried the triple chocolate cheesecake and my husband had the carrot cake. We both enjoyed it! Very polite server, she even gave us a discount card for our next visit since this was our first time.

I made my first purchase here today- a Reese's Peanut Butter & Chocolate cheesecake for my son's 16th birthday and I am IN. LOVE. The inside is very clean and well decorated, the man that served me (owner? manager? not sure really, but I would guess Owner) was incredibly nice, personable and professional. Their menu is full of tempting treats and all VERY reasonably priced. This will definitely NOT be my only stop- I will visit again, and I suspect, often! Overall- QUITE IMPRESSIVE!edit: Finally made it back today (June 26, 2020)for another birthday cheesecake! My son's girlfriend turns 16 this weekend and we were thrilled to be able to get her one of these delicious cheesecakes this year; she chose her favorite flavor- the cookies n' cream cheesecake. Thank you for helping us make two 16th birthdays great!*They are currently offering curbside pickup as well as in store shopping and pick up (facemask required). I was glad I chose to go inside because I ended up buying some delicious looking banana bread for my husband too.Update: It is now 3 years since my first visit and we continue to make a minimum of 2 purchases annually, without fail. First trip this year is this week and we can't wait!

The quality of their cheesecake seems to have greatly diminished over the past few years. I also agree with the other reviewer who noted the rude disposition of the employees. I won't be returning.
