Definitely a great spot. FYI they have good vegetarian options. The Fideo was super delicious soup. If you’re vegetarian and looking for solid traditional Mexican soup this is a good spot. A couple nice outside tables. That bathrooms aren’t great. It’s near the jfk tourist stuff so not a bad spot for lunch.

Alvaro was awesome, made sure our drinks were always full, and was very knowledgeable about all the items on the menu. Everything was super fresh, the Asada, guac, and salsa were to die for! They were out of the chocolate cake flan, sadly, so we will have to go again next time we are in Dallas!
We both got the breakfast special. The specialty latte was on point. The breakfast tacos were a little bit wet and the bacon was undercooked. Great atmosphere but we were unsure of where/how we needed to pay after finishing.

Light, welcoming, beautiful vibe. The food was the kind of portion and quality I consider a great balance. I ordered the Carnitas Tacos and a Michelada w/Pacifico.Our smiling and genuinely happy waiter, Alvero, was top notch.The Verde sauce was warmed, the purple corn tortillas delicious, and the cabbage, lime, cilantro, and pickled onion was a delicious compliment to the perfectly prepared Carnitas.I ? their lighted sign, "Eat Tacos live forever" is not only a fun message, I'd say this place embodies both...the tacos, and a positive and upbeat vibe that's certain to extend your life even for just another day.Thanks Alvero, and thanks Chimalma for being a wonderful oasis in a bustling downtown.

This place was just amazing, from the food to the aesthetic that it had everything was just so great. One thing that was odd was some items had a charge when usually they would be offered for no additional charge, but I honestly didn't really mind that at all. Yazmin was so nice and patient with me when I was ordering my food (she even helped me choose something to eat since I wasn't really sure what was good there), but I ended up getting the brisket tacos and I would definitely recommend those and the restaurant as a whole.

Best steak breakfast tacos around the DFW area! Take a tour around the JFK memorial and stop in here. They have great Mexican hot chocolate, too. Try their famous homemade horchata coffee, eat some pancakes, and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Fresh food and friendly people. Tell Ozzie I sent you.

I must say once again to my surprise this lill place was excellent the food had great flavors and the staff extremely friendly. I ordered the nopales tacos, and my husband got the brisket tacos and carnitas. Those tacos met our expectations. Totally recommend this lill place located in the middle of downtown Dallas.
