I placed an pick-up order via the app for dinner this week which worked fine. Their rotisserie chicken is tender and flavorful. With leftovers reheated the next day, it was still tender, moist and flavorful. The mac and cheese is creamy but could use a touch of salt. The brisket was surprisingly very good and tender as well! I just wish they provided condiments like bbq sauce to accompany it. The brisket is served with two slices of raw white onion and two pieces of pickles. The twice baked potato was my least favorite side as the texture of the potatoes were off. It could've done with more cooking time and seasoning. I definitely see myself ordering from Cowboy Chicken again!!

Overall my many experiences here as a customer have been lackluster. I literally just come for the deals. The customer service is terrible! No one acknowledges kindly or tries to effectively answer your questions. As for the food the main things that are great at this location are the crispy drumsticks and the banana pudding. The regular chicken lacks flavor and seasoning. I only go to this one because the next closet locations are Irving and Frisco. At those locations the food is honestly much better. Today I was especially annoyed by the older lady with the short brown/red hair placing her palm over my cup to put it in a cup holder. I didn't understand why that was necessary to literally have to your whole inside hand in the top of my cup. Then later she pulls out deodorant from behind the counter and starts putting it on and then goes right back to work and doesn't wash her hands. Thiiiiis is why I was annoyed. I don't trust your hands are super clean and you place your hand inside of my cup unnecessarily.

Got the chicken and brisket plate as a door dash order. It was my first time ordering from this restaurant. I thought it was a great portion and very tasty! My leftovers were good the next day too, The roll, bbq sauce, peppers, onions, pickles, and utensils were all included. Great takeout!

Call portions of the beans are ridiculously small and mostly water . The chicken is always great and probably the only thing worthwhile eating here besides the twice baked potato, yams and the rolls.

The chicken tenders are deep fried with a batter that is light and crisp. Had the baked sweet potato and green beans for sides, a great place for a quick and delicious lunch. They have sweet tea, watermelon black tea, regular and strawberry lemonade. All good and sweet.

Question: Why is everyone going to the serving trays ? These stainless steel trays and and putting your sides into these paper containers. I understand the need for easy clean up, but you are serving a lunch and dinner. The food was okay. The potatoes were slightly uncooked (hash brown potatoes), the street corn was good and chicken moist. No greeting when I stood at the counter for a good 10 seconds. The restaurant was clean for a Sunday evening. I didn't get the dump cake peach cobbler. This is a spot that I forget about and this experience reminded why.

I would leave zero stars if that was possible. Just bought a family chicken dinner for four and they can't even include ONE bbq sauce. You have to pay extra. At a bbq restaurant, not going to give you bbq sauce with the meal? Nickel and diming customers is a sure way to lose business. Won't be returning here.

The chicken sandwich was very small and hard crunchy things were in the sandwich. Not worth the money.

I had a big order (11 individual meals to pick up) and manager and crew had it ready to go. We were missing a meal and I mistakenly thought it was one bowl missing when in fact it was a salad...manager sgave us the additional bowl they had made and gave us the salad as well. It all was handled kindly and professionally.

Ate in 3:30pm on a Friday, ordered dark meat chicken and brisket meal with fries and ranch beans. Worst food at a restaurant I've ever experienced. Everything on the plate was poor quality to unedible. Chicken was dry and rubbery, appears to have been under warming light for hours. Plastic knife could not cut it. Fries tasted like they had been fried in oil used to fry something else. Brisket was worst I had ever had in Texas by taste. Ranch beans had weird underflavored taste. Even the bread-biscuit was strangely flavored. At $38 I expect better quality. No other customers in the store should have been a clue. First time I've ever eaten less then half the meal then left.

First off, the food is delicious and they're fast! On another note, it's very odd to me when you walk in an establishment and no one greats you. I came in on a Monday night, around 7:30. The restaurant was not busy, there were maybe 6 customers in the restaurant and they were all sitting down eating. When I walked in, there were 3 different employees standing at 3 different registers. None of them were taking orders. Not 1 single person said hello, welcome in, nothing. I walked up to one of the registers since no once said anything. I got my food to go. When they called my name I was thinking to myself, SURELY when I grab my food someone will say something.... WRONG. I grabbed my food and not one single employee said goodbye, have a great night, nothing. Again, the food was amazing! It's just something that leaves a bad taste in my mouth about employees not speaking to customers in a nearly empty restaurant.
