Wow! What a disappointment! I had a long thought about where to celebrate my wedding day at… I looked into the nicest atmosphere places in town. I looked into the Mansion, SĒR, Monarch, RH Rooftop, among many others… after a long conversation and thought, my now husband and I decided to celebrate at Dakotas, just to have one of the worst experiences of our lives. We went to Taco y Vino for appetizers before dinner and had a great time, now I wish we would’ve stayed there for dinner too. After spending over 1k at Dakotas over drinks and dinner the “manager” told us we were too loud. Our table was in the middle of the dining room, nothing special , and the restaurant was loud to begin with… we had a party of 7 and we were laughing (as someone celebrating) and we were asked to be quiet by Magdy, the “manager”… wow… I didn’t expect to be treated like that at all, we just wanted to have a special night. If you want to have a special evening, do NOT go to Dakotas… if I can rate by department, reservations 10, waiting staff 10, food 5 (overpriced ) management 0… it sucks to walk out of a restaurant with this kind of experience, especially on my wedding night…. I could have stayed at taco y vino where my family and I were treated with respect and our business was appreciated…

I would say the management ruined my experience. I had just gotten married and was with my family. The restaurant was loud, my family was loud. Apparently we were too loud but volume in the area felt the same. Rude management. Never will come here again and will tell all not to come here. Biggest waste of 1200 on a wedding dinner. The general manager gave your general sorry responses. Never again.

A great place for a special event, amazing service and food. We celebrated our anniversary here and the made the experience amazing! There is complamentry valet, and the train station is only 5 min away. Would recommend the pork belly appetizer!

For a place that promotes a dress code then does not enforce it is disappointing. We had a special anniversary date night planned. I had wanted to try Dakotas for a while. After being seated and given our drink order a group of men were seated behind us. One had a Nike Tshirt, one wearing a hoodie, one wearing a construction work jacket and muddy boots, one wearing frayed jeans, one wearing track pants (all violating dress code). Not only that, but these men were loud and rude. They cursed all night like they were at a Sports Bar. They were doing "shots" of alcohol. This is not the atmosphere for this behavior. Several patrons asked to be moved away from them as they were so disruptive. The men should have never been seated in the first place because they did not meet the standards of the dress code, yet the establishment cheapened everyone's experience that night by allowing the rude and disruptive behavior of this one table. This is not acceptable. There are too many fine dining places in Dallas. Don't waste your time at a place that doesn't value you as a customer.

Been wanting to visit for long time. They did not disappoint. Started at the bar. The specialty gin martini was marvelous. Bar staff were friendly and informative.Then we sat down for dinner. It was good weather so it was open to the waterfall. Wonderful atmosphere!Service was impeccable. Food was excellent and cooked to perfection. And plentifulOverall a great experience

Phenomenal turn out tonight. Thiss place is the most exquisite and elegant place to have a dinner night. It’s a whole movie in my opinion. The food was out of this world good. The service is beyond expectations. The first step walking in from the elevator is a whole vibe. My family and friends were looking for a nice place to come for my pre birthday dinner and it was great. Constant refills of water. The alcohol was beyond good and the each appetizer was …yum …yum!!!Again this was a great place. Pictures tell it all. Did not disappoint.The only concept that I would like to have happen was maybe a little more options but the server was Definitly on point with the menue and pricing.We were able to Dress to impress. ?

Everything was fantastic. The lone tater tot was the perfect appetizer. The bone-in filet was cooked to perfection (medium rare, the ONLY way to cook a steak) and was seasoned perfectly. The au gratin potatoes were delicious. And they had a caramel popcorn flavored creme brulee that was fantastic. Service was impeccable. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Dallas.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Dakota's and loved it. The atmosphere was enhanced with a piano, low light, fireplace, and a waterfall. This was probably one of the coziest restaurants I have ever sat for a meal. I only regret not having a different table, even though our table gave us a very good view of nearly all of the other tables. Our waiter and sommelier were very knowledgeable and attentive. I look forward to the next time I able to enjoying other items on the menu.
