Bought my experience through GROUPON. This experience was supposed to be to be my fiancee and I's one year anniversary. Unfortunately, it was canceled due to weather. We were scheduled for the following month. Looking back I should have requested for a later time, to experience the lite up skyline of Dallas. When we arrived we were warned that they were shorthanded. 2 girls had called in, so it was the host and one other waitress/bartender. No bueno! We were flown by Andrew our pilot. Andrew was great! He answered all of questions & the landing surprisingly was great! Initially I wasn't scared but once our place caught wind and I felt the turbulence, I became nervous and wanted our flight to end. LOL! It was a very bumpy ride due to the wind. At one point we were flying side ways. Andrew told us during the night flights are more calmer. Also the planes don't have A/C, but we have a nice breeze up in the air. Once we landed we had dinner. My fiancee ordered the NY strip with mashed potatoes and veggies and I had the filet mignon. We wanted medium rare, but the NY strip came out well-done. The drinks were good, but my drink wasn't served in its entirety. The cheese cake dessert was yummy. Overall the experience was worth it. But the service was not good. Both the host and waitress were apologetic. But they should canceled the majority of the reservations, so customers could have a better dining experience.

Delta Charlie's has moved from Dallas Executive Airport to Grand Prairie. This move has drastically changed the entire experience for the worst. The whole flight is spent traveling to Dallas which means your view is of Grand Prairie's manufacturing district with many storage facilities and junk yards. You no longer make the loop around downtown Dallas. You see Dallas (at its least attractive viewpoint) on the u-turn back towards the restaurant and airport. Right back through the unsightly city of Grand Prairie. Maybe it's prettier once the sun has set but during the brighter part of the evening it just looks like organized trash down below. The restaurant is more of a terminal and less of a restaurant feel, so it's kinda odd being all dressed up. The food was jusy okay. And our pilot was just okay. The host and waitress were both as sweet as pie. But as far as everything else goes... I don't think it's a $300 experience anymore. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you fly after sunset and even then.. it's still...eh.

they had us waiting 30 minutes to even ask for our order, served other people that got there after us. got there at 6:45 didn’t get our food till 7:50, and our flight was supposed to be at 8, then we didn’t even have time for dessert we decided to go to the plane at 8:20, got back at 8:45 and had us waiting even more to get our dessert so we decided to leave after 10 minutes past . The flight and pilots were great tho.

If you are going here for a special date, you may not want to. They will probably cancel it. Either due to weather, the president coming in town, the sky is too blue, the grass is too green. This is the second cancelled date and I would not like to reschedule because the next date will most likely be cancelled as well. I would just like our money back. They also do not answer calls. The voicemail box is full so you will never get to actually speak to someone regarding any concerns.

I loved this place! We went to celebrate anniversary and was definitely worth it. The service was quick and very nice with any questions we had. The food was much better than I thought it would be and very flavorful. The actual dining area isn't very fancy giving very casual vibes. Some people had on very casual dress and a few had nicer dresses and dress up shirt for guy. Would come again!

I was actually shocked at how good this steak was. When you first come to the restaurant you feel like it all just got put together 30min ago. You feel like you are at a cheaply done office party, so if you choose to dress more business casual you wouldn't stick out. Service was very good and the views of the planes flying around was also very neat. I went here with on a really good discount which made the flight and dinner very worth it and a 4 out of 5 for me. But at full price I would have expected a more premium dinning experience.
Our Pilot, was Andrew and man was he amazing. Great pilot, great conversationalist. The flight was awesome, truly and experience you’ll have to try. I was a bit timid at first, but quickly realized that my fear was unwarrantedNot to mention excellent service and a warm welcoming from the manager of the establishment himself, Patrick! Truly a mesmerizing moment. Definitely coming back. Would certainly recommend ✅5 stars!!!!⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I’ve been calling this place for 2 days straight trying to get into contact with someone because the date i wanted was booked, it dosent make since to make me pay before i can see the calendar that needs to be corrected ASAP , i wanted to speak to someone to change my date and there’s been no answer I’ve called atleast 5x a day and the voice mail is full beyond pathetic

The food was better than expected. Although I have a hunch the food is not consistent. The flight was about 20 minutes instead of the expected 30 minutes. Its not explained anywhere but I was expecting to fly a circle around the Dallas skyline. Instead it was a circle in the other direction, so we really only got a good shot of the skyline once. Its certainly an enjoyable unique experience.I find it odd they do not have a real website explaining all the details and the flight route.

Booked dinner flight as surprise for my husband. After flight guests joined us for dinner. The food was good and the entire staff was exceptional. It was an awesome experience and I highly recommend it.
