Our family of 5 went for brunch at 10am. The restaurant was half full. We had reservations which we arrived on time, and they weren't ready. We were sat at a table without full table settings. A waiter eventually showed up and delivered coffee to only me for some odd reason since we hadn't ordered yet. We placed drink orders first, then food orders after a few minutes. Our drinks didn't arrive until after we had finished our food. We had to follow up on our drinks twice. We also had to ask for coffee, water, and soda refills. 4 of us had to salt and pepper our bland food while the 5th enjoyed his pancakes. the eggs benedict were hard boiled, not poached/runny. Overall, it took us 75 minutes to eat brunch by the time we received everything we ordered. There was a DJ as well blasting music. Some Beyonce theme, but the volume kept going out, then blaring back in. Very odd experience overall and won't be back.

Miguel was absolutely amazing. The food quality wasn't bad, probably what you would expect of an event buffet. But the okay food was made up for with seriously awesome service. I would go back and give the food another shot just to get to Miguel again!

We sat down and things started off pretty good. We ordered our first round of drinks and things came out as normal. From then on, it was not so good. We ordered an app, and it never came out. We went ahead and ordered mains, and half the table's food came out and there rest didn't come out for another 30-40mins. We asked our server about it, and she went to check, yet for another half hour nothing came out. When the food finally did come out, some plates were cold and/or undercooked as well. Overall, it was not a good experience at all. If this is The Pittman's main attraction, it definitely needs some work.

Elm and Good is a gem in an otherwise young drunk infested neighborhood. The look is amazing and the vibe is on point. Food was really good - we had the two steak dishes. So why missing a star? It took 55 min from when we ordered till we got our food. No drink refills - service was spotty. Plenty of people, just not focused. Chef and team (3 others) should be able to maintain quality on a relatively short menu and crank up speed of service. Want a nice dinner before music and drinking - this is the place.

Some months ago I saw a post about The Pittman hotel and the restaurant inside the hotel called Elm and Good. My wife and I had the opportunity to stay at The Pittman and eat at the Elm and Good. We had an enjoyable experience. The food was very tasty. We had early reservations at 5pm, therefore it was very quiet inside the restaurant. The price of the food was reasonable. The food was very flavorful. I would recommend this restaurant to others.

Drinks tasted average but were overpriced. I ordered cod fish which was terribly bland and the fish was not fresh.

It's a hotel restaurant whose location and layout make it an open thoroughfare from the lobby to the bar, and the tables next to the kitchen are fairly horrible. It's basically a bar with a few tables. The food was good although it took an hour for it to arrive at our table, and they did give us a comped appetizer without us even asking or complaining about the wait. The server was nervous and inexperienced, which was fine, but the host was frantic and apologized about the server to us by name, which was cowardly and inappropriate.

Singer was so loud we couldn't talk to each other on valentines, which I don't think is the right vibe. The cod was really bad, I think the meat they cooked around it ruined the taste completely. The drinks were heavily iced and a joke, not to mention overpriced. They also tried to surprise us with an overpriced Valentine's Day couples menu, which was never disclosed on the reservation here. We had to ask for a menu, and they acted very weird about. It was an underhanded tactic, I suspect the manager or owner lacks the scruples you'd expect for a place that used to have a good rep. I wonder if the original owners sold it. They also throw on a surprise service charge, so overall the place tries to nickel and dime you, serves overpriced and bad food and drinks. Supremely disappointing. I will say the fried shrimp and squid were pretty good, and the chicken was okay.

We really had the best bartender at this hotel bar. We were staying here on a layover and came down for a night cap. He made me a really amazing whiskey cocktail. It was a decently big place, with a good vibe. We had some tasty fries too but would love to try the actual food one day!

We stayed at the hotel and got breakfast here on a Monday morning. There were only 3 other tables being served at the same time, but the service was slow and impersonal. My husband and I both ordered coffee, and it was lukewarm when our server brought it to us. I ordered lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes, and they were simultaneously burnt on the outside and underdone on the inside. When I told our server that I’d like to order sourdough toast and that he could take my barely touched plate of pancakes away, he didn’t even bat an eye. He then brought me a plate of “toast” that 2/4 pieces were completely untoasted. Very, very disappointing food quality and service for the prices and restaurant quality.

I think this was the worst service I have ever gotten. I came here with friends last night and we each got 1 or 2 drinks and an entree, got there at 8:00 and didn’t leave until 11:30 because our server never came to our table. We didn’t get our first drink until an hour after we had sat down and when I got mine, it was wrong. The server probably came once every 45 minutes. There were 3 other tables when we got there, place was totally empty, and everyone else had been gone for an hour when our server finally brought the check, which she refused to split for us saying she was too busy (again no one else had been there) and said they had been closed for an hour at 11:10. They close at 11 not sure why she felt the need to lie continuously to us. She added automatic gratuity to our party so she got paid 20% either way for the worst service I have ever had. I’m not risking an almost 4 hour dinner again by coming here this place is extremely poorly managed evidently. And it’s always empty whenever I’ve gone so it’s like the whole city knows not to come here.

I truly enjoyed my brunch at Elm and Good. Lemon Ricotta pancakes are a must and the Omelette. Grab a mimosa or rose' as well. If Dakota is working, get a table in his section! You won't be disappointed.
