The food presentation was nice and the food was fresh, but it didn't wow me. I had the Buffalo chicken sliders. The cheesecake was delicious. The highlight was our male server. He was attentive, helpful, and funny. I enjoyed the experience and will try them again.

I hope after their grand opening things improve. The service was very slow. Constantly asking for water, condiments, napkins, and utensils. I ordered the fish & grits and rumberry lemonade. The fish was really good, grits was lacking seasoning, the rumberry lemonade was good as well. The servers were nice but just slow to get things out. Music was good. Don’t think I’ll come back.

Food was AMAZING! I had the fish and grits, mac n cheese and collard greens. All three were so bomb. I also tasted my friends French fries which were very good. My sever “J like the letter” was so funny and attentive. I would def return. Music played in the background was not too loud. I warmed my left overs up when I got home and it still tasted so good.

Have been multiple times it’s really a hit or miss but last time I had the food the chicken was awful! Went tonight and they had a security guard that was very rude and stand off ish as well as the guy at the front door. Won’t be returning honestly don’t see this place making it just based off the costumer service.

I attend Paul Quinn, an HBCU, and if you are an HBCU student, this is the place for you! The food was amazing, the service was friendly, and the owner was well versed as well, I really enjoyed the food, and was able to celebrate my brother’s birthday in peace.Parking: On a modestly busy Jackson street, ease of access was amazing.

We celebrated my son’s 25th birthday here. The staff was patient and kind and the food and drinks were on point!!!
Go see “J” at Esco! Very charismatic! Phenomenal service and the food was really good. We tried the peach cobbler French toast off the brunch menu. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

It saddens me to write this review, but here it is. Service was good, and that's the only reason I'm giving them 2 stars. The drinks were subpar, and the shrimp and grits were not good at all. To be more specific, the shrimp were small and gave cornmeal fried with no flavor. The cajun sauce was bland with no flavor or meat, as stated on the menu. The collard greens rolls were okay, and the mac n cheese rolls weren't edible. The French fries were the best part of the meal. They should have someone with a culinary background or at least someone who can cook, come in, and revise the recipes.

Just tried Esco dallas on Jaskson street and let me tell you the food and service is amazing. I had the fried catfish , greens , and Mac & cheese. Norman and Amy was awesome at the bar. If your wondering to come please don't not hesitate.
