I was a regular client here and had several birthday parties here and shared this place with other friends. NOT anymore very dissapointed that recently I was charged $35 to my check.Apparently now there is a five dollar cover fee for the live music. Not sure why they added other peoples $5 dollar fee to my check without my consent then expect for me to pay. If this is the case there should be someone at the door charging a cover fee to listen to live music or letting us know before hand upon arriving. The waiter was very rude to us when the incident happened knowing we are regular customers. I will not be recommending this place to others.

The food was very flavorful but they definitely skimped on the protein. We also ordered the yuca fries that came with a sauce on the plate and I could’ve used a lot more. Overall okay experience food wise. The mojitos were weak, but delicious. For a Monday night, I was looking for a tasty drink so I wasn’t too disappointed, but if I had the same drink on a Friday night I might need a few to counteract the copious amounts of syrup.

Review updated: So we get here at 8:30 and literally were told to hurry up and order to go. So the place is not packed hand full of people. No order for drinks we literally had to wait for the food to get that. EVEN though we literally were sitting next to a bar ordered a simple beer . So disappointed. I had been literally waiting to try this place. Food was decent but SERVICE NO MANNERS. TOTALLY GET YOU WANT TO CLOSE BUT THIS WAS INSANE. So upon my review we get a personal call from the owner. He apologized for the wait staff and she did to. I think that was very noble. She came up and I advised probably better to use different wording. She understood, I explained why I felt that way, she was totally understanding and I understood they are tired and would like to start cleaning up as soon as possible. It was a long day and work is not easy. We will be back but most likely on a Friday when hours are later.

They make the best Cuban sandwiches. Service is prompt and the decor is very warm.Parking: There are spots immediately in front of the restaurant, not a big number of spots but usually one can be found. If not, there are spots adjacent to the restaurant or right behind it.

Got to enjoy a delicious meal with family.. It was a blessedly quiet mid-afternoon, which was perfect for us with a 5 month old. She was able to meet her great-uncle for the first time and not be overwhelmed with a full restaurant and multiple conversations that would have worn her out.

Back again at Havana Cafe! Love this place. It's not packed on a rainy Friday night but should be. We had the Chicken Salteada and Bistec Salteado. Check out pictures if it lets me. Don't forget to get the picadillo empanadas for an appetizer. "Quaint" little place in a strip mall but always a great dining experience.
