Haywire was a favorite restaurant of mine with a particular dish called "The low & slow chicken" plate. Also a red fish plate. It was changed to a completely different dish but same name was kept. The choices are literally terrible now. The Frisco location literally had 4 plate returns from different parties while we were there. All dissatisfied with their dish. We felt sorry for the great waiters. PLEASE HAYWIRE listen to you customers. Change the dishes back to what made you popular.

I love haywire. Their biscuits appetizer is a go to for me and I've always enjoyed the food I get there! Service is great and the atmosphere is chill and southern

The seating is a bit cramped the closer you get to the kitchen, so just pray to not be seated there. Drinks are good, food is good, and nothing is dry which is a BLESSING with southern comfort food. If I'm trying to impress someone from out of town with good Dallas Southern food, with a hint of bougie, I'm bringing them here and feeling confident about it. I've been twice now and the service was lovely each time. My real recommendation is that Mac and cheese and the chicken fried steak. I hope this place is around for a good while.

On my second day in Dallas, one of my co-workers recommended Haywire. I came for lunch after a conference. My waitress recommended I try their 8oz garlic stuffed angus steak $49. Wow, this was terrific. I've never had garlic placed inside a steak before. The closest thing I had previously was at a Korean steakhouse where they put a small foil tray on the side with garlic and butter where you can spread the overcooked garlic as a spread. The chef at Haywire did a good job with searing the outside of the filet with the proper seasoning. Service was excellent. This was one of the best lunches I had in Dallas. No wait on a Friday at around 1pm.

A family member was in town so we decided to go Haywire's Uptown location because we've already gone to the Plano venue and had a great time. Valet was convenient for $7 and when we went inside we were immediately seated, this Is where things went down hill. Haywire did not appear busy but we were not greeted for 5-10 minutes. Next, after ordering our drinks and appetizer we still waited quite sometime for our server and food. The ambiance was ok but the retractable windows were attracting moths and other bugs which made it less appealing. The ribs were overcooked but, the broccolini was pleasant and seasoned well. As of now I prefer the Plano location, I may give Uptown another try.

A must try if you're in Dallas! The vibes and lighting for dinner are immaculate and the staff really show their southern hospitality. Crab Dip was a big fat, YES! Chicken Fried Chicken. The perfect comfort food and so delicious. The Pecan pie, yall. Out of my group of five, I was the only one who wanted this dessert and everyone agreed it was way better than the chocolate cake. Like, this honestly might be the best restaurant dessert I've ever had. They sho know how to cook here. Do not miss this spot!

Delicious food, lovely ambiance, and great service! This place checks all the boxes. I recommend you visit. They are also willing to accommodate larger groups (10-12 people). I'm definitely going back to see if I can get seated in the cute van they have on the patio.

We ate here for the first time this week and its high rating is well-deserved!!! Everything that everyone ordered at our table was just excellent - from drinks all the way to desserts!! It had me thinking about the next time we could make it back here! : ) The waitstaff were very friendly and helpful. I will say the restaurant is a bit loud. So if that is something that really bothers you, factor it in. To me, the food is most definitely worth it!

The first thing that impressed myself and my son was the environment. Dimly lit with warm decor, however we were sat at a large open window which was perfect for the breeze and people watching outside. The service with Durant as our server was spot on. My son wanted a Sheryl temple and I asked if it had an actual cherry on it. It didn't come that way, but he made sure he snuck a few to impress. Onto the meal. My son had the wagyu hamburger and said it was top 5 best hamburger he has ever had. He is only 16 so maybe a push but the Bone in Ribeye I had was pretty close to the best steak I have had outside of smoking it myself. It was a bit overcooked but nothing that disappointed me. Overall a great experience. I wish I lived in Dallas to go back or that they had one in the Gilbert AZ area.

Great service, good, atmosphere and location in Dallas. Awesome onion rings, tasty elk tacos and very good ribeye! Highly recommend for a dinner or business dinner. Great service!

Haywire in downtown Dallas is an absolute brunch paradise! I recently treated my mother, visiting from Houston, to a memorable dining experience here, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped in, the rustic yet chic ambiance captivated us. The staff greeted us warmly and provided impeccable service throughout our meal. The brunch menu offers a tantalizing array of options, from classic favorites to inventive dishes with a Texas twist. We savored every bite of our meal, from the perfectly cooked eggs benedict to the indulgent French toast topped with fresh berries and whipped cream. The cocktails were expertly crafted and added an extra layer of enjoyment to our brunch experience. The attention to detail and commitment to quality at Haywire truly shines through in every aspect of the dining experience. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Haywire is a must-visit destination for brunch in downtown Dallas. We can't wait to return and explore more of their menu offerings!

I wanted a true Texas dining experience and this restaurant delivered. The interior made me feel like I was visiting a Texas ranch for dinner. Most of the menu is for a carnivore but there are a few less heavy goodies on the menu. I started with the Mini Elk Tacos. Yes you read that correctly, Elk. Not a common meat choice in my region so had to sample. Meat was flavorful. The taco was all meat no extra veggie fillers. Very good eats. I wasn't really in the mood for a big carnivorous meal so decided on Texas Redfish for my entree. Never tasted Redfish. It was nicely grilled with no odd seasonings. A basic white fish would be my description. It was paired was rice and salad greens. I really enjoyed the entree. It wasn't too heavy but was filling. Service was really good. I ordered and was served my starter within a few minutes. My entree was also timed perfectly to be delivered shortly after finishing the starter. Nicely done with the service. I hate waiting extended periods of time between my courses. Overall this was a win. Good food. Good service. Interesting decor.

I recently checked out this place for the first time with my family and they did not disappoint! Tanner was my server and he did such a great job at being attentive and helping us with any questions we had. I would definitely ask for him again as a server. I had the lump crab dip which was TO DIE FOR and the chicken fried steak with waygu beef. The brussel sprouts were delicious and so was the Mac and cheese. I honestly can't wait to come back for happy hour or brunch! Thank you again Tanner!
