"Ground meat should always be cooked to a safe minimum internal temperature. Cook ground beef, pork, veal, and lamb to 160 °F. "(USDA 2023)They definitely don't follow this rule at Hopdoddy. Everything about this restaurant is good except for one thing: they overcharge for an undercooked hamburger, which according to the USDA, is unsafe to eat.

Immediately after walking in we were greeted by Victor who took a piece of trash I had from the walk over. Amari took our order and assigned us our seat. We ordered the Double Bacon Jam, the Classic, and a Green Chile Queso Fries. Everything was served quickly. While everything was delicious, I will warn that the burgers will be cooked with a pink inside in case you like it more well done. Victor stopped by the table several times to refill drinks and also make sure everything came out as ordered. At this point I had to stop him and find his name because he went above and beyond to make sure everyone was satisfied. He was constantly moving around the restaurant talking to each party. Amari also passed by to make sure our food was great and we ended up ordering a couple shakes to take with us. She was extremely friendly and we enjoyed talking with her! I wish I could give more than 5 stars on the service! Hopdoddy on Luther Ln. Will have our business each time we're in Dallas from now on!

I had the ahi tuna burger and- it -was delicious! Perfectly seared to rare. My wife had the double bacon with a gluten-free bun. It was also amazing. We had the truffle fries as well. Some of the best truffle fries I've tasted, and buddy I've tasted some truffle fries. Highly recommend you stopping in and grabbing a bite.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options and knowledgeable staff.

The overall experience was great with family. The food at this establishment was OK. It lacked flavor the price eighty three dollars Not bad for evening out I was hoping the burgers had more flavor the chicken was o kOne thing Concerning as I was washing my hands in the men's bathroom. One of the employees exited the stall and neglected to wash his hands and went back to the grill and started working. But either way , all that aside Overall, experience good. Not too sure if I'll try this again

The food took over 30 min to come out. When it did. It was wrong. Also very expensive for what I received.
I can’t say enough nice things about how well we have always been treated here by Victor, your brightest shining star! I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years and feel like he’s been here that long as well. He treats us like family, provides service like I’ve never experienced anywhere else and is overall just a great dude! Thanks Victor for always taking such great care of us. From Kary and Shira!

I'll start by saying that past visits have been good. This one, in contrast, was terrible. I arrived at 11am when they opened. Ordered only the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. It took 20 minutes to get it and, though it looked good, it was AWFUL...like eating a rubber chicken. I think something was clearly wrong in the preparation, and I paid nearly $20 for it (too expensive even if it had been great). If I wasn't pressed for time to keep an appointment, I'd have complained and asked for something else. I'll be hard pressed to return, especially if Smashburger is an option...SO much better!
Strike 2...you're out!We have picked up food for six from this location twice and been disappointed twice. In both cases the food was lukewarm / cold despite our having to wait on it to be packed.Food quality is lacking. First time it was the brussel sprouts. I am crazy for roasted brussels sprouts, and the fact they are a featured item on the menu immediately grabbed by attention. I don't know how they are prepared, but they came out swimming in grease. I had ordered the truffle oil topping on the side so it wasn't that. Tossed them.Yesterday, I ordered a Kale Caesar, dressing on the side. A Caesar salad is Romaine with parm cheese and croutons, so I expected that with Kale Caesar . What I received was a combo of iceberg lettuce, grated cabbage and precious little kale. According to the manager the recipe calls for the greens to be 1/4 Kale, huh? Not a shred of parm cheese, and crumbs presented as magic crouton dust. The concept of "magic" crouton dust was intriguing, but a miserable fail. To the manager's credit when I called to complain, he said he would credit the ticket, but I was so disappointed. The dressing however, is quite good !Finally the burgers. Beautiful! But cold.

The team at Hopdoddy is friendly and efficient! I routinely get take-out from the location at Preston Center, and the order is always correct and ready on-time - plus their food is tasty!
Always love coming here for a delicious burger and some custom fries. Favorites include the poblano burger and the classic. They just can’t do a burger wrong here they always come out fully stacked and just delicious. Fries are fresh with each order so that’s a plus. If fries aren’t your thing they have sweet potato fries and fried brussel sprouts.This time around the service was a bit slower and they forgot to make our fries but the food was delicious. We didn’t mind the extra wait.
