Very disappointing, we arrived for our reservation which was made weeks ago. The door was locked, place looked abandoned and their phone system is automated only so you can't reach out to anyone to talk to. No update on their website or social media. Very frustrating to not be notified of any emergency closure or whatever was going on despite them having contact info to follow up and confirm the reservation the day before.

This restaurant closed permanently a little over a week ago. No email, no phone call just showed up at our designated time to find the restaurant closed. Basically ruined our anniversary night. Not sure if this is OpenTable or the fact Kent Rathbun can't keep a good concept alive and has closed every restaurant he started.

Food was good- server was good- Bartender upstairs great while we waited- for meal At table, orders were delivered at different times, so one person's entree would arrive 10 min before someone else's- very strange... heard later this was their last night open at this location. Food was delicious- we didn't leave anything.

I picked a bad time to reserve because apparently they were closing shop the next day. That being said they were short staffed, out of everything on the menu, and the food didn't taste fresh. I wouldn't take a date back there again one of the worst “nice” restaurants I've been to.

The restaurant looks really nice and the wait staff and host are great BUT the food was a big thumbs down for me. I started with the Dim Sum Sampler and the filling for the Siumai was rough and the wrappers for all pieces of the dim sum were hard and undercooked. I had the Wagyu (8oz) and it was the roughest Wagyu I have ever eaten. I left sad, probably won't return again.

Very cute, semi-casual place to be. I say semi casual because there really is no dress code, so you could definitely come eat here after a day at the office. Imoto offers a decent selection of food and their drink menu is loaded with great staples. I tried the espresso martini and ordered a couple of green tea shots. They do offer a special selection of sake if you're into that. The sushi was really good, and the chef added the perfect amount of sauce. Friendly and attentive staff was a plus, I'll be coming back for happy hour for sure.

We sat at the sushi bar for a special tasting with Chef Jimmy Duke. Everything was DELICIOUS! The service staff was also very friendly and attentive. I believe our server was named Rico, and he was wonderful. Definitely recommending this spot to friends!

I will definitely be back! Service was very friendly and down to earth. Our server Francisco was very informative and flexible without a complaint to our many requests. Every dish I ordered was perfect. I did try a piece of my coworker's Wagu Brussel sprout roll but that was a tad salty for my liking but the Hakujin roll was DELICIOUS. That habanero kick was just right. Another must try is the Upside Down something (can't remember the last part) Cocktail it is now my favorite drink of all times! I will be back!

meh, kinda pricey for the quality. i got a lychee martini and the bartender gave me extra lychee's which was nice but it was just an alright drink. and the martini glass was crooked. i thought that maybe it was just a design thing, but no, the glass was bent (it was metal) also ordered some appetizers but i don't think that they were anything special.

It's a great sushi place Wonderful service We had a table of 6 and they sat us at a large round table with a lazy Susan in the middle Perfect for ordering a bunch of rolls and apps to share My favorite roll was the Duke My favorite app was definitely the chicken We got edamame and shishitos dragon style I love the unfiltered cold sake and the lovely server made sure my glass was never empty Nice bar and great ambiance Watch out for game / event nights The place gets PACKED But I highly recommend this place for some fresh eats!

We had a late reservation as I just had my Masters graduation ceremony and we sat outside. They were attentive to us and the food was so yummy! We ordered the crispy Brussels and I have to say the best I've ever had! Rolls were so fresh and delicious!

Went before the Dallas Stars game. Half of what we ordered showed up. I think the waiter forgot everything we ordered. Didn't have enough time to order more. For the price. Go to Nobu or Uchi

Pretty disappointed at the price point ... Lots of "shortages" and we weren't told until after we ordered and then the serving staff didn't know what food belonged to who. Noise level is pretty high. Due to the area it seems like they know they have a captive audience ...

Last night was my first visit to Imoto and overall it was good. We were celebrating my youngest daughter's birthday. Service was a little slow as there were only 2 waiters working. They did give us good service when they came to our table. Our food was good and the sushi was delicious.

Currently, just like most places, this restaurant is under staffed. Our waiter had 10 tables all at once. He was likable and attentive but just couldn't keep up with everything. As it turned out 2 hours after we ordered an entree (we ordered several and were eating as food arrived) it finally came out of the kitchen - after our dessert had arrived and been eaten. The waiter asked the manager and the last entree was given to us as a "take-home" item and also removed from our bill. We were pleased. The food itself is VERY good, i.e. delicious cooked items and sushi is fresh and beautifully prepared. We are a little older than middle aged and found the noise level distracting.
