Hands down, the best winery in Texas. This is the Dallas location. Main location is in Fredricksburg.

Traveling from Denver and this was my second attempt to visit this tasting room on a Saturday. They would not serve tastings due to club pick up. Not busy at all. Left without trying wine. Will not be returning. Very disappointed in how hard it is to fast at this tasting room.

By far the best wine in the area. Go give them a look.

Hands down the best winery in Texas. The Gatlin's have been making wine for decades and know their stuff. Their wine is more old world in style, and Tempranillo and Cabernet wines make up a lot of their collection. They just added couches so it's become more cozy. Highly recommend!

Been a club member since they opened! Love this place and the Gatlins! Excellent wine and food events.

Best red wines around. Little industrial looking but good company and service

Interesting, not sure why they are still offering tasting here. Was a hot mess. Bathroom was filthy. The tasting fee super over priced. Yes the wine was good , but not good enough to pay $$$ to drink in a storage unit they use to make the wine in. I believe there was 5 seats to taste, in what looked like a bar connected to a dirty unorganized kitchen. Apparently they have tasting rooms elsewhere and have let this place go... because no one comes here. Turn back....

I really want to give this hidden jewel 4 stars but I can't. Inwood Estates if off Irving Blvd and Manufacturing, tucked in within a industrial district. It's been there for 10yrs. I was on a wine tour bus of 53-56 people. Spencer the attendant/pourer was overwhelmed with the number of people. I didn't feel any energy or excitement from him, not even a welcome. There was definitely a disconnect between our tour guide and the number of guest we had. No educational history about Inwood Estates Winery or any of the wines. Although he was very open to answering question one-on-one. Spencer was nice guy, but a missed opportunity to sell a few bottles to me. I was amazing how wonderful these wines were homegrown in Texas! I want to go back with a few friends for a tasting because it's so off the beaten path, which makes for a really cool location and Saturday outing after lunch.

Not your traditional tasting room but you are tasting in the production area. 5 stars because I brought a few people who never had Inwood wines before and they absolutely loved it. Marc was a great tasting guide and made them feel comfortable and provided them with wine education.

I am a proud Texan, and will boast of how just about anything is better in this great State than somewhere outside God's country. However, I also enjoy wine and I simply cannot bring myself to brag about the greatness of viniculture de tejas. Inwood Estates is the exception to Texas wine however, and gives me hope for the other wineries springing up in the state. I actually tried it at a local food/wine event, not knowing it was a Texas label and thought "hmm... this is pretty good" - then the bartender said "this is actually a Texas wine" - at which point I almost spit it back out in disbelief. Needless to say, I was excited to sample their wines again when i found out that they press and barrel their wines just down the street from my Oaklawn apartment. The winery is a bitch to find, but worth it. They have added a few varietals to their portfolio, so you have the option of 4 tastes for $7 or all 6 for $9. The fiancee and I went last weekend and tried all 6, which I recommend. The cabernet tempranillo blend and their Magellan (red blend w/ mostly cab sauv + cab franc, malbec, and maybe 1 or 2 others?) are their 2 big award winners and it's easy to see why. If you're looking for something to do or to kill some time on a weekend afternoon, Inwood Estates is a great option.

This is in an industrial part of Dallas and can be hard to find but it is right behind the Hilton Anatole. The wine is awesome. and they use all Texas grapes. Great thing to do while in town. and not far from all the Dragon street art gallery's. I understand great restaurants across the country and stocking their wine and now they have a tasting room open.
