“Man, this place was fantastic. We went early in the day, the day before St. Patrick's Day, so the staff was dressed a little more (at least, I ASSUME a little more) Irish to celebrate. It wasn't busy when we got there. Very nice selection of alcohol, especially if you enjoy something other than Bud Light or similar light weight beers. My husband and I shared the spicy Wisconsin cheese curds, and then I indulged in some Scotch eggs while he had the fish and chips. SO GOOD, every last bite! And the fish was HUGE, not some dinky little sliver of tilapia or whatever some places like to serve.Parking was located in a garage attached to the building next door - it's free for the first 2 hours if you have the pub validate the parking. We loved it, and if we lived closer I would definitely go much more frequently.“
“Came here with a group of coworkers to celebrate a birthday and we just so happen to be in the mix of celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! They had a specialize menu just for the event and a plethora of activities the week leading to. They have a lengthy happy hour and we made sure to order food and drinks for our enjoyment. Our server was attentive and friendly!I ordered the Galway Bay Mussels and they’re made with a cream sauce. Definitely a different taste than what I’m used to but the mussels were fresh. I also ordered a few Green Tea Shots and Mar O’Ritas. The drinks were amazing and perfectly mixed! I was able to taste the Cheese Curds and Corned Beef and Cabbage Rolls and they were very tasty. Overall, we had a great time and it was a treat to be there for St. Patrick’s Day!“
“Went to the Blackfriar Pub for a special event, but will definitely go back for dinner or just to enjoy some drinks on their great patio! We did have their Cajun Burger, it was amazing! The bar staff was super nice and took great care of us!“
“Lochland's is a friendly neighborhood Irish pub with excellent food and drinks. We ate brunch here with some neighbors this morning, and my eggs Florentine was delicious, perfectly prepared, and colorful (I got a very fresh side salad with home made buttermilk ranch). Service was friendly and efficient, and there are always soccer matches on the plentiful TVs mounted in every corner. Parking is plentiful, too. Highly recommended.“
“Bar was busy for a Monday evening. Jerry was running like a mad-man; service was not an issue! Let's start with the Moscow Mule and dirty Grey Goose martini - both were excellent. I think I liked the prices of their drinks almost as much as I liked the drink itself. The food - everything was delicious, from the Sampler Platter to the Fish & Chips, Burger to my favorite, the Monte Cristo. Prices were decent. I've been looking for a quaint little bar and this fit the bill and it's close to work. Good place to pop in for lunch or after for a drink.“
“I've been to the Dubliner half a dozen times in the last decade, always with friends that lived in the area that frequented regularly, so I always assumed the great service was because they were regulars. I live 180 miles away, so it's not usually an option for me. This time, I was in town and taking friends that had never been. Guinness, Harp's, and Smithwick are all on tap. We were there all afternoon watching a Cowboys game and had great service the entire time. Jerry the bartender has been there for about six years, so consistency appears to be the norm.“
