I had the fried fish with cabbage and loaded potatoes... I don't really like cabbage and their cabbage slaps!! I thoroughly enjoyed eating dinner here!I've been to restaurants where they may have a few sides that are "premium" items, taste like they put care into them. Not here, EVERY side had a premium look and taste! It's so refreshing when an establishment puts care into the main entree AND the sides!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! When you come to Dallas you must eat here!
Kendall Karson’s is a great establishment! I came in, and was welcomed immediately with remarkable customer service! The wait wasn’t long at all. And the food here…was excellent, authentic, and fresh! The atmosphere here is indeed the one to remember, everyone is very sweet. Staff here definitely deserve Tips for the hard work they put in. You will not regret coming in

It’s the food and the owner for me. Kevin puts a gourmet spin on soul food. They have come a very long way, the food was always superb. However the timeliness of orders was a problem. They have ironed out those new restaurant kinks and are definitely in a league of their own. Kevin takes pride and n his food and it shows and taste. I’ve tried everything on the menu and my palette was pleased.
