I have been visiting this bakery since I was a child. The conchas are delicious, and if you want them fresh out of the oven, come around 2 pm. I hope this establishment gets a makeover since the area is being remodeled. I would love to see it flourish and attract the customers it deserves. The bread and chocolate and vanilla conchas are my favorites.

The food here reminded me of home. The atmosphere and food was excellent. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I definitely recommend their al pastor tacos, they are delicious!! Their baked goods are also super yummy.

This bakery I have shopped at since my childhood, 1990's. The bread in general, the cookies, the bolillos were a 5 star. It has now changed. Not only did they increase price on each piece but they reduced the amount of product you get. Dont do that. Its one or the other, can't do both. I bought conchas that were from the previous day or two, hard as a rock and they place them in front of the fresh ones so they sell first. Again, dont do that! Set them aside for a cheaper price. I no longer buy from here. They overcharge. $15 for almost nothing. $1 for freaking hard concha. Taste is also no the same.

This place has gone downhill from what it is too be. Idk what happened but it is no longer the same staff, same taste, or same amount. This place has been gentrified

This has been a staple of mine for Mexican Sweet bread for years (over 30) but the addition of tacos has been amazing. Stuffed street tacos with amazing salsa accompaniments. You have your choice of cabeza, lengua, chorizo, tripa, bistek and more. Authentic food at great prices. And the jalapeño cucumbers!!!

SO GOOD! They are not greedy with the meat. Their salsas are tasty with just enough heat to take that taco to a whole nuther level. And don't even get me started on those jalapeño cucumbers. It's like God and the devil made a truce for one day and created a heavenly spicy creation just for Estrella. These tacos are making me wanna move back to my old hood. Yea they are that good.

This place makes fresh bakery and home plates. Everyday is different menu. They make tacos, torta and quesadilla. Very fresh foods. Home made tastes. Call ahead to know what they're making for plates.

Love the sweet bread especially the sweet potato filled.

The costilla quesadillas are god tier here! Worth the drive to Oak Cliff at least. The tacos weren't bad but I can't remember much about them. They were out of tripa which is always sad for me.
