Stopped in for lunch on Cinco de Mayo for the first time because of the reviews. Sadly, our experience was not the same 5 star as others. Husband got a combo bag with crab legs, shrimp, mussels and it comes with potatoes, corn and a boiled egg. You can pick your sauce flavor and heat level. He got garlic butter and hot. There was plenty of garlic to the butter but the spice level was not even a little bit hot but rather none at all. Meh. I got the fried basket with catfish, oysters and fries. My meal was cooked perfectly and was crispy but had no seasonings at all and even hot sauce did not improve it. We had one glass of wine and one beer and our total for bland middle of the road food was $61. Our hostess/server was simply not attentive, personable but rather rude. I'm in the hospitality industry if it matters. For us, this is a "one and done" as these seafood in a bag places are all over DFW so next...Kid-friendliness: There was alot of kids of all ages in the restaurant this afternoon.

Absolutely amazing. For a seafood place this has the best sweet potato fries and chicken I have ever tasted. For the seafood the sausage is nothing close to you have ever tasted before. I have no complaints with the fast service, good sweet tea, and great atmosphere

Today, I wanted to try something new and tasty. I made the right choice. I stopped by The Laughing Crab to pick up my order of King Crab with corn, potatoes, and sausage, all included. I couldn't wait to dig in. OMG, so very tasty. I truly enjoyed this meal. The food is amazing with all the spices. It was more than I could hardly eat or bargain for. It was well worth the money and time. I do plan on trying some of the other items on the menu. Keep up the good work. I will say this is a must-have kind of place. Try it and you will love it!! I will be back!
