We walked in and were seated immediately. That was about the only good thing to happen. We got our glasses of water soon after. Then it took like 10min to get our waitress to our table. She wasn’t particularly great not bad. But she acted like she had 20 tables but in all actuality she had four. Two of which had their food already. Boggles the mind why we waited the amount of time we did.Being non-urgent as a server is not a good trait. She should do better.Food was ok but service lacked and lacked and lacked. I kinda wish we had this other male server. He seemed to have urgency with his customers from my pov.Next time we’re in Dallas this will be a skip.Fast food would have been at smarter choice.

#JoeFoodTour step back into time into a classic diner! The food is super yummy with lots of local farm to table options. Cheesy grits and the sausage are a must to get. The fundraising mural has been around since 1996. #HowdyFromHouston #ThePropertyJoes #LivingLifeInHouston #

The food and service were good and the staff super friendly ...I think this was the best chicken and waffle that I have had, and the gravy was very good. The place has a comforting feel to it. Staff was so nice that they gave me a free biscuit to try and it was very fluffy and delicious.

It’s expensive. I will admit. Expect to spend $20-30 a person. But OUTSTANDING FOOD.Dietary restrictions: If you prefer your food prepared a certain way, I’m certain they will honor it.Parking: In Turtle Creek, parking is validated, depending on restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: It has wheelchair accessibility.

I am going to say this place, certain servers seem racist/prejudice. Me and my boyfriend, (who is black and I a hispanic), were not greeted. not respected. An older red head lady gave prejudice and gave me and him no acknowledgment. Everyone was staring at us the whole time we were eating. Weird. If you want friendly service as a person of color, would not bank on this place.

History, mystery, good diner food, and a nostalgic shared memory of community in a digital world.
