Great time with food and Hurricanes. Love the atmosphere. Great staff, Clarissa educated us about the menus and hotness level. The red velvet waffles looked awesome. I had a wonderful wrap sandwich that was great. They are about to include a full bar. Now they offer frozen Hurricanes and Margs. Great place that you must try.

Stopped in here for a quick bite after craving a chicken sandwich. Inside has an old school diner feel to it, plenty of seating and a few TVs. Service was ok, order was taken quickly but the food took 15 minutes and then it was brought out to eat when we had ordered to-go. Menu is fairly straight forward, chicken tenders, sandwich, and your traditional sides like mac-n-cheese, cole slaw, fries, and okra. Plenty of different spice levels to choose from, both sauces and dry rubs. I did the big lou, which was a sandwich, served with a side and a drink. I went with the "damn lucky" which was their second hottest sauce and described to me as the type of heat that eating a bag of hot Cheetos is, which was pretty spot on. Pleasantly surprised with the sandwich, chicken had a great crunch to it, pickles, a slaw, and the bun was fantastic. The shake fries were great, seasoned well, nice crunch to em. Mac n cheese was not great, artificial flavor in the shell sauce and tasted subpar to even kraft. Overall decent experience, wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

I’m not sure why they only give you one tiny dipping sauce for huge tenders. I ordered the Med combo and when I got home and opened it up and saw this one tiny sauce container I was very disappointed. Sooo I have one and one half chicken tenders with no more sauce to dip in. I mean even the sauces they give you at like chicken express are larger than this. I guess next time I’ll have to get like 3 of them so I have plenty of sauce for my chicken!!

The food was okay, not sure if I would come back to give it a 2nd try. It’s overrated. Chicken was a bit dry and bread over buttered.

Need to do better. Have eaten here before and it was not very good this time. Bread seemed old and french fries were not fresh either.

This place is it. They put Dave's and all others to shame! They literally have the best fries I've ever had. Their toast is perfect and there's nothing I can say about the hot chicken that will do it proper justice! If you like hot chicken then this is the place to go!

A solid fast food place, the mac n cheese, Howlin fries, and chicken and red velvet waffles are a must-try. The location is adorable and retro.

I absolutely love this place this is our 2nd visit and it truly did not disappoint! I got the velvet chicken and waffle and popcorn salad and my husband got the chicken strips with honey hot sauce he also got the garlic parm and medium rub with cheese fries. Tried the banana pudding and ice cream swirl! Let me say everything exceeded our expectations it was all so delicious. Their service is impeccable Carlos P was super friendly and provided excellent customer service! Lucky’s is great - they’ve been a regular for me since I moved to Dallas 8 months ago. I’ve eaten inside 3 or 4 times and gotten takeout; after their management changed a few months ago, the food really improved. The service is quick and friendly, the restaurant is simple but clean and has a really cool 50s rock atmosphere. The chicken has the spice and texture you expect from a place specializing in hot chicken, the foods served piping hot, their in-house sauce is really unique (in a very good way) and distinctly different from Cane’s sauce or comeback sauce. Great bread and sides too, the prices are fair, really neat hot chicken spot. Absolutely check this place out if you are near uptown, downtown or East Dallas.

We really like this place and the food is great. We recommend this place for those who haven't tried it before. We were impressed by the customer service cashier Latisha who greeted us with a smile and who was knowledgeable about what we ordered. Thanks Latisha we hope management take notice. Thanks again and we will return.
