Marble Slab Creamery

Stopped by this ice cream place as I was craving something cold. When walking up to the counter there is no one present. I had to wait a few minutes before the employee came out from out the back and was able to do my order. After spending the day at a World Food Championship my daughter and I were craving ice cream. My daughter said this was the largest, nicest Marble Slab Creamery she's been to in DFW. I was tempted by the beautiful strawberry shake advertised on the menu which I will definitely try next visit. The GF and I were craving something sweet after dinner, so we stopped by. It was the first time either of us had been this location. We both got ice cream sandwiches. The cookies and ice cream were a bit pricey ($13), but were very good. It's not somewhere we would stop on a regular basis, but the Marble Slab definitely fills a need in Lake Highlands.The problem we noticed was with their staffing. There were two employees working.
