I love Meso Maya! I had an amazing waiter. I'm sad I don't recall his name. But myself and my date were 100% pleased. He gave great recommendations and was prompt and super friendly. Our food was hot, we were full and we liked the ambience. I won't lie, I did prefer the location near what I believe to be Addison as it had a great patio, but I would definitely come back here.

My family and I came to enjoy dinner here a few weeks ago and what started off as a great experience turned into a horrible one after I received my dish, the chicken mole, and the CHICKEN WAS RAW.Not like just a little raw, but like still slimy raw. It was disgusting.... And even more so because I didn't realize it was raw until after my first bite.I notified my server and I swear to God she didn't even apologize, she just took the plate and said she'd have it remade. And this was considering that my specific dish had already taken longer than everyone else's food to come out. I thought they'd maybe offer to take it off my ticket because of how wildly unsafe this was, but nope... She said she couldn't do it.I asked to speak to the manager about it and he confirmed that he wasn't allowed to remove the item from my ticket because they were remaking it.... Again NOT APOLOGIZING for the strong potential of food borne illness and exposing a customer to uncooked poultry - even after telling him I had taken a bite! Madness. He finally offered to remove an appetizer from my ticket, but I told him not even to worry about remaking the food, I didn't want it.This is absolutely absurd for a restaurant to mess up this badly and take nearly zero action or responsibility for the mistake. It wasn't like they accidentally put cheese on my food when I asked for no cheese - no - they left actual raw chicken on my plate. Salmonella.I'm also reporting this to the health department. I'd stay away from this location.

The chile relleno was delicious, the green pozole was bomb, and the churros to top it all off was amazing. Def recommend those 3

I had dinner there on Sunday and the food and ambiance were amazing, but what it was really great was the service, Orlando made our night way better, he explained everything and recommended us some amazing dishes! definitely coming back!

Food was awesome and service was wonderful. Ceviche tostadas were fire and mole was really good. Orlando was a gracious host...definitely coming back.

This place was recommended to me and did not disappoint. The salsa was smoky and spicy, perfect with the chips. The enchiladas had a tangy sauce that was delicious. The meat was lean. Really no complaints, I would go again.

The service was OUTSTANDING and the drinks were good. The salsa was okay, and the chips were good. I had the Brisket Enchiladas that came with black beans and white rice. I didn't care for the sauce that was over the enchiladas, the brisket that was inside of the Enchiladas was very good, the black beans had no flavor and everything could have used a pinch of salt. I ended up ordering queso to put over the rice and beans. The best part of the meal was dessert, the churros were outstanding. I won't write the place off but would try another location and would order something different

One thing I enjoy about Mexican restaurants is chips and salsa... this might also be their downside. Allow me to explain: I arrived a good 20 minutes before my full party arrived (we had a reservation so I was seated immediately) and thus I began eating chips and salsa... had the service been more on point I probably would have never stopped eating chips and salsa - the breaks I took were driven by the fact that we were out of chips and/or salsa. Yes, I really enjoyed the salsa. We also had some guacamole and it was also delicious. So what's wrong with that? The simple fact that it sort of spoils the entre. Did I like my entre - yes I did but I wasn't nearly as hungry to fully enjoy it after gorging myself on chips and salsa. Would I go back? Most definitely.

Ordered lunch as soon as they opened at 11. My order was pozole, chicken pudín azteca and queso fundido. The only item made today was the queso fundido. Pozole meat is so old is completely dried up, the pieces are so small they look like pieces of dog food. The chicken in the pudin azteca is the same! it's old and dried up!!! SUPER NASTY, complete waste of money.
