The ambiance and service at this cafeteria style Texas Barbecue are quintessential Texas. Down home good folks serving up heaping helpings of pretty decent food. And while they are decent, they are not great, especially when compared in what has become a pretty crowded and competitive fiend of barbecue restaurants. I had the sausage sandwich plate with green beans and cherry/pineapple cobbler for my 2 sides. I was impressed that I was able to get cobbler as a side and impressed by the cherry/pineapple. I was a little hesitant about the cherry pineapple mix but the 2 flavors complemented the other. I will go back to eat there.

This place was great! Delicious food and friendly service. The bbq was amazing and lots of unique sides I’ve never seen before. Lots of meat choices to choose from.The bbq sauce was delicious and it’s no wonder they sell it! I got a chopped brisket sandwich plate.
