Absolutely fabulous as usual! We look very this place and we took a couple here for the first time to celebrate 20 years of friendship. They loved it! The noise level is still an issue but I think unavoidable. Will always return!

If you enjoy seafood, make your way to Montlake Cut. Always fresh fish on the menu and several choices. Arguably the best seafood restaurant in Dallas. Great appetizers and salads, and options if you do not want seafood. Can be a little noisy around the bar, seating towards the rear will be just a little quieter. Fish taco's are always superb and whole roasted branzino was decision. French Fries among the best in the city, but corn, brussel sprouts are also outstanding. Worth the drive. Suggest you make a reservation. This restaurant fills up quickly - on the early side.

Kudos to Montclair Cut. The food was divine...iespeciallythe smoked salmon appetizer and the branzino. Perfection! My only criticism in an almost perfect review was my opinion that the noise level was rather high But for the best part...I reserve my highest praise for our server, Sherlyn (Sp?). She was so congenial and accommodating and made every effort to ensure that we had a wonderful dining experience. I will most certainly return an will ask for Sherilyn in the future. Regards, Denise and Bart

The food and service were outstanding. The noise level was very loud. Mainly due to large party in our area who had never learned the difference between an outside voice and an inside voice. The more wine, the louder the people at the table. I actually turned my hearing aids off and was still annoyed by the noise. Ask to sit in front booths, no large tables around .

Food and service were great, but we did have to wait 40 minutes to be seated even with a reservation. Would not suggest trying to make a reservation and come here on a busy (Friday or Saturday) night, you may have to wait a very long time! They did comp a couple of appetizers due to the wait which was nice.

Service, food and drinks were all very good. Cheryl Lynn was outstanding. But the noise level was out of this world. We were in the back room and we couldn't hear our waitress or each other in our group of 4. We come on a regular basis and it seems like it's been this way for the last two years as the 30 yo's scream, especially the women. Can the restaurant consider putting in sound panels to absorb?

Since Alyssa joined the team in July of last year, the place has lit up with her grace and beauty. Alyssa is amazing and makes everything work so much better.

Quite literally LOVE this place! It’s small but mighty in flavor and service. We usually sit at the bar, (Andrew is the best!) the food never disappoints. We always get something different and have yet to make a complaint. The oysters always fresh, cocktails are the classics done just right, don’t skip on the daiquiri! This is hands down my favorite, most reliable, seafood place in Dallas.Side note: make a reservation, it’s a small place and they’re always busy.

The staff are always friendly and attentive even on the busiest of nights. Food consistently great! Love the Dungeness crab cocktail as recommended by our server. We sat at or fav the chiefs bar! Martinis were wonderful. We wished we had only ordered 6 oysters not 12 to have more appetizers. We are grazers and love small plates to share. Your menu is perfect for us! One of our go to restaurant s.

Being quite demanding, we are particular about where we spend our dining dollars. Montlake Cut consistently has very good food and exceptional service. The people are friendly and work diligently to ensure that the dining experience is one that bears repeating on a regular basis. Additionally, all of the food is prepared to demanding standards. I highly recommend the restaurant to our friends, and we love to take out of town visitors to enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Just a wonderful dining experience and neighborhood gem! Always worth the wait but they do take reservations and you can also eat at the bar. Fresh fresh every night and one of the best hamburgers in Dallas. You will find something on the menu you enjoy

They were very crowded and running behind when we arrived for our 7:00pm reservation. They apologized and we were seated by 7:25pm. After that things improved, service was great, food delicious, they devided items in the kitshen so we could easily share. Very good food!! Would return, but maybe during the week.

Hannah at the bar was great. Our food was terrific and even though the restaurant was out of our favorites, we still had a nice time. It's kinda pricey compared to the competition so it's good that the service is first class
