Food and Service are GREAT!!! The owner offered us a free drink because of his grand opening! He recommend different food and engaged as we ate. Ordered the egg rolls and Pork and Beef bowls and they were so good!!! Place is 10/10! Thank you Alan for the experience.
These are the same owners as the old Green Papaya (not plant based) off Oak Lawn! I am SO happy to see these folks return to the area! I enjoyed the fried egg rolls (#1), shrimp spring rolls (#2), and chicken pho (#26). It's all just like I remember. They even gave me a sample of the durian sticky rice, which was a nice sweet treat and then helped me to my car. Hoping that the community finds and supports these guys! Heard so many good things about this little store and was still surprisingly amazed by the quality and authenticity of the food!!!!! The owner is extremely friendly as well and hands out home-recipe wonderful desserts on the house that he makes as a hobby. Def a new regular supper place for me!
