We went kinda late. They were out of beef ribs, so I settled for the pork ribs, and my fiance got a chicken plate. The food was ok, simple bbq with no soul, and the chicken breast looked like a body builder.lol.Service was great. the atmosphere was ok. They had a live band out back. We might try it again on our next trip to Texas. O and try the margaritas, fire my fiance said.

This bbq was so delicious. I’ve tried most of the big names in the DFW area and I think this is my fav just by a bit. They have the giant 1lb+ beef ribs but I think the brisket stole the show here. It melts in your mouth and is super tender without falling apart. The mac and cheese was also fantastic. I generally avoid downtown Dallas and Deep Ellum but I’ll be back just for this and the Mozzarella Company.

This was a hot mess. No seasoning on chicken and overly fried. Jalapeños in Mac and cheese.

When looking at where to get BBQ in Dallas this is one of the most recommend spots to go. I stopped by and got the three meat platter and peach cobbler. The BBQ was all good, but the star of the show was the peach cobbler!

The nachos are excellent! We also had a the sweet potato, brisket, Mac and cheese, and pulled pork. All of it was fantastic. The staff are hardworking, and make a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back and try the trough sometime!

Pecan Lodge is both our favorite bbq place in Dallas!! We tried 5 different bbq places to try in Dallas within 5 days. Their beef ribs and burnt ends were sold out. Fried okra is a MUST! I said wow, when I ate it lol Brisket, Pork ribs, and Turkey are amazing too! Just everything was at least good to fantastic. Way better than Hutchin's, Soulmans's, Rudy's and Terry Blacks. Apparently our Lyft driver said they love Pecan Lodge and a Lockhart BBQ (specifically Bishop arts district).3 meat and 1 side $21, can't include beef ribs.- Fried Okra!! I usually don't like fried foods and overly battered fried foods too. But this batter, season was amazing!!- Short Ribs have an outer crunch, but tender inside. It's not overly seasoned or salted like other places.- Brisket was tender, juicy and not overly fatty- Turkey is was great too. Hutchin's was good too- Mac and Cheese: SO enjoyed it.Our first ever Texas bbq. And its been in Dallas. Everything was decent to incredible even for someone who's an extremely picky plant-based type of meat eater, and SO who likes to bbq and smoke food. We tried 5bbq places during our visit, below in order:- Rudy's in Allen: Brisket was a bit fatty but had a very smokey taste.- Soulmans in Allen: Chicken and Links are good. We didn't get to try chicken at other places.- Hutchin's in McKinney: Fried okra was really good. Pecan Lodge was spectacular though. Hutchin's only had brisket, brisket links and sausages. Their sampling of Turkey and chicken were great but we didn't get to try more than that. Only the fried okra was good.- Pecan Lodge is both our #1 favorite place. Brisket, fried okra was just wow! Turkey was really really good too but it's the only full dish turkey we've eaten. Overall everything was great! Whereas many places had maybe only 1 item that was good, until we tried better.- Terry Blacks in downtown would be our number #2 fav place: The 1st place to actually have Beef Ribs available. So we couldn't compare the beef ribs to other places. It was delicious, a bit fatty, and stayed super soft even after reheats. The sausage was just as good as Pecan Lodge.Definitely looking forward to trying Lockhart BBQ in Bishop arts district next time. Pecan Lodge and Lockhart BBQ were his two favs.

Great food. Lots of Gluten Free options with clear markings on the menu. Open dining room was a pretty noisy but that's my only complaint. The gluten free potato salad was delicious.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options available and listed clearly on menu board. Celiac friendly.

Pricey, downtown Dallas eating! Paid to park and had to walk a bit to get to this restaurant at 3pm on a Friday. Restaurant was not busy, so once we ordered at the food bar, the food was ready fairly quickly. Alcoholic beverages (wine & beer) served at a separate bar within the restaurant. You pretty much wait on yourself here, receive a number for food pick up when ready. Ordered the 'Hot Mess' which is a sweet potato stuffed with brisket & barbacoa and drizzled with sauces ($14.00) and hubs had BBQ combo of ribs & brisket ($21.00). All tasted great, even though pricey---I know ALL bbq establishments are pricey these days. Wine was $10/glass.

The food here was immaculate! I’m from the Midwest, and we just don’t have BBQ like this. Complete game-changer! The brisket and pulled pork were indescribably-good, CRIMINALLY-good!
