This is a MUST visit brewery if you are in or near the Dallas area. I had their Pick Hammer red ale which was excellent. Everyone in our group was very happy with their beer choices. The brewery is set up with multiple levels which opens up plenty of seating. On the top level they have multiple games. We asked about doing a tour and on the spot they were able to accommodate us and show us their brewing process. One warning, many of the beers have a high alcohol content so be careful.

We are club members at Peticolas because of their top notch beer, second only to the hospitality of their staff. The folks there always make you feel welcome. Look for Jason, Eleanor, Kayla, or Matt keeping the taps flowing while Scooter and Travis make sure the tap room and events run smoothly. The beers are among the best around, and you will always find the perfect brew for you on tap. The Velvet Hammer is the flagship red imperial ale, legendary in Dallas. Golden Opportunity Kolsch and Irish Goodbye are both faves with us, and don’t miss out on Alfred Brown brown ale when it’s on tap. There is plenty of seating for you, your significant other, or all your party people. Games upstairs, some space outside, and always a great time. Also, check out the Velvet Hammer social runs the second Saturday of each month, where #ThatTacoDude is slinging some of the best tacos you will ever have the good fortune to eat.

My experience here is always a plus. We stopped by during a storm and participated in the trivia and ordered beer to go. We live four hours away and this is a must to visit when in the area.

This place is great. Friendly, comfortable, great beers and brisket. Shout out to the friendly staff and the greatness of The Brisket Department. Only downside is wife beat be 2 out of 3 at shuffleboard. Oh and happy birthday to the sweet woman handing out knitted koozies for her birthday.

Really enjoyed the beers I sampled. Taproom is roomy with a rustic warehouse style. Great Scott, Velvet Hammer, and Turkey Kreik are stand out beers and you MUST try.

Been on a beer run with local breweries the last several months. This one been on my hit list for just from the pictures/photos. I knew it was going to be a special place. It everything I imagined and more. They have the beer brewing down to a science. The atmosphere was phenomenal, great customer service!! I definitely will be back!!

This place is an institution. One of my favorite stories to tell people is that the first day my wife and I moved to Dallas from California, a rep from Peticolas let me try some velvet hammer for free and take it home... and this was in the before times when you could only get beer home in a growler! So for someone just out of college and just getting their start in a hot hot apartment, having a growler of velvet hammer and no furniture but making it work is a very special special memory to me. I go out of my way to get their beer whenever I can, especially at Torchys! I've run their 5K twice, and it's a super fun event with an excellent vibe and excellent swag. I had the honor of meeting the founder at an event at Alamo Drafthouse, and getting to tell him my story and he seems like a totally great dude! If you haven't gotten to come here and watch a soccer game yet, add that to your Dallas bucket list!

Peticolas hosted an event my colleague and I had in their loft game room - and it was the absolutely perfect spot for a fun business oriented networking party! Travis and the staff were absolutely invaluable to helping our event go smoothly - and the beer was a big hit with the crowd. The favorite seemed to be Golden Opportunity, although Long Distance Relationship was another winner. The atmosphere was casual but cool - and the location was great being in the Design District and just a few minutes from downtown. We would absolutely come back - and huge thank you to the PB crew!

We came here for a corporate event. Really nice brewery and loved the selection of beers! There is something for everyone just about. Upstairs they had a nice gaming room with ping pong, shuffle board, and foosball. The staff was super nice and let you try before you buy as there was a couple (like the old fashion beer) I was unsure of before hand.Great place will def come back.
