My friend and I traveled to Dallas last minute to visit a sick friend. We took a bit of respite to eat lunch. Not knowing the area, we did a Google search for "sports bars near me." Press Box Grill was the first one that popped up - 10 minutes away. Once we walked in, we knew it was the right place for us. They had police patches on the walls, so pro law enforcement. I've been a cop for 22 years in Nebraska so I felt safe and at home away from home. Bartender was cool and attentive (I've since forgotten her name). Her Bloody Mary's were delish and tap beer was fresh and frosty. We both ordered the beef quesadilla, which we both believe it was the best we've ever had. And tots. I'm a person who celebrates National Tater Tot Day on Feb 2, so they are always a winner in my book. We loved the place so much that we both bought hoodies and t-shirts to proudly wear back home. Had a chance to talk to the GM, Chris O'Neal, who was super friendly and kind. I sent him one of my police patches after I got back home. He put it up on the wall with the other patches. I know a piece of me (and my police department) is always there. Press Box Grill is well worth the stop. See you next time, Chris!

Great local bar. Even though I travel often for work I enjoy local hangouts. This bar has great food and friendly staff.

Very generous portions and fairly worth the price! Had a veggie burger with curly fries and a peach lemond drop martini! Loved the food and drinks! Everything was made pretty quickly and cooked to perfection!

Press Box is definitely Downtown Dallas's Cheers! It's a neighborhood bar and grill with excellent service, delicious food, and affordable drinks. Once you step inside, it feels like home!!!!!!!

Omg it was my first time there and I had the brisket sliders and a small order of fried pickles and when I say they both were delicious! I mean it touched my spirit lol that brisket was so tender and mouth watering lol. I’m definitely coming back to try something else new!!!! Idk the name of the guy who took my order but he was tall light skinned with locs and he was very polite and quick! Thank you sir!
Friendly staff but the chicken tenders could’ve been better. As could the bread for the turkey burger. And if you’re not into nuts and/or allergic to them, don’t eat the caramel cheesecake.

Last Tuesday I ordered a beer , the bartender was Chris . He had to run an errand and left .The bartender that took over , a woman , never once in 30 minutes if I would like another drink . She was right in front of me several times , running the cash register .She never acknowledged my existence !Pathetic !
